Toward The Arms That Loves Me のすべてのチャプター: チャプター 1 - チャプター 10

VICTORIA HENSHAWI leaned in slowly, a sly, seductive smile spreading across my face. “Really?” I asked, one of my eyebrows arched up. “And I thought you were a gigolo provided by the bar,” I retorted, my voice dripping with sarcasm. However, it didn’t look like he was buying my joke at all. His eyes only narrowed, and his face darkened.I let out a soft sigh, my fingers trailing his exposed chest. “Well, I’m not a prostitute, I’m only here to have fun. And If you please me well, to my satisfaction, I might pay extra for the night? How about that?”For a moment, our gaze locked onto each other, his expression stoic that I couldn’t even read what was going through his mind. And in a swift move, he sweep me off my feet, his arms wrapping around me, and my legs instantly circling his waist as he strode towards the stairs.I felt a rush of excitement instantly washing over me as he carried me, my body pressed against his chest. The crowd parted, everyone scrambling to get out of his way

VICTORIA HENSHAWSitting beside Gwen in the living room, I took in a deep breath, turned, and met her gaze. “I have something to tell you, Gwen” I said, my voice calm and steady. Gwen’s eyes flashed with curiosity, and she leaned in. “What is it, Vicky? Are you okay?” I smiled, and nodded slightly. “I’m pregnant, Gwen” I said, the words tumbling out in one breath. For a moment, Gwen’s face was frozen in surprise, and then slowly, her eyes lit up with excitement. “Oh my goodness, Vicky! Are you for real? You’re going to be a Mom?” She squealed, throwing her arms around my neck before I know it. As she pulled back, our gaze locked onto each other. “But, what do you plan on doing now? You’re going to keep the baby, right?” She asked. I nodded. “Yes, Gwen, I’m going to keep the baby. I know it’s not ideal, considering the situation but I want to do this on my own. I’m going to raise the baby and make a good life for the both of us.”Gwen nodded, her eyes glinting with support as she s

ALEXANDER BLACKWOODMy eyes followed her out of the door, and a low breath escaped my lips. I leaned back against my chair, my mind slowly drifting off to the past.I’ve always had it rough. My childhood— it was like a war zone.I had grown up in a house where my father was a tyrant. He was domineering, overbearing and had ruled with an iron fist— those were the kind words for the monster that he was.My mom couldn’t stand the torture and left when I was just 6 year old. She left the states and never looked back. No goodbye hug, no letters, no explanation, no phone calls— just vanished into a thin air. After she left, the worst happened to me. My Dad turned into something else. His behavior towards me turned even more fiery. He was always angry, and always looking for someone to take it out on.Physical punishment was his love language, and I was his favorite target. They say, you learned to give out love the way you’re loved. However, I learned to fear love, to associate it with

VICTORIA HENSHAWThe roar of engines echoed through the track as I stepped out of the pit lane, my eyes scanning the upgraded racing cars. The F1 US Grand Prix is fast approaching, and our team is pushing hard to get everything perfect. Life has been peaceful for the past few days, and I’m beyond grateful. Christian’s harassment has suddenly stopped, and my interactions with Alexander at work have been strictly business only. We’ve kept things professional, and I’m so relieved that he let things be that way. He hasn’t suspected anything about the pregnancy yet too.I’ve been worried I would lose everything if he does. I’m more surprised myself, because I’ve been more energetic than ever. I didn’t have any weird mood swing yet. Just craving for some particular food. The buzz of the engines, with the smell of tires and fuel filled the whole place with stimulants. My team and I have been working on some major upgrades, and I was eager to see them in action. I’m determined to prove

VICTORIA HENSHAWAaron’s giggle and squeal echoed the whole house as we played hide and seek game. After a while, the whole kitchen got covered with flours as we cooked his favorite meal— pasta with meatballs and mac and cheese. Later, we sat down to eat our food, and I felt my heart swell with love for this tiny human sitting across from me. After we had our dinner, I helped Aaron with his bath, before changing him into the night clothes. I slipped into my own night dress— a comfy pair of trouser and a soft blouse, before handling Aaron’s own to him. “Here, wear these for tonight,” I said. For a moment, Aaron’s eyes narrowed at the oversized clothes I handed him, before giggling shyly. “Mommy, you want me to wear this?” He asked, unbelievable. “Yes, young man. Wear this for tonight. We can always get you a new one of your size another time.”He pout, before wearing them afterwards. I couldn’t help but chuckle at the sight of him in my clothes, his little legs swimming in my p
