Anna's POV Had he gone crazy?!I looked at the fine man before me, but with whom my heart didn't beat for, and I tried hard not to frown. I stopped, shut my eyes and for one quiet second, forced myself to breathe. God, why is this happening to me again?“Please don't make jokes with me…”“I'm not joking,” Noah interjects, his expression dead serious. “It's just unfortunate I'm finally saying what I've had in mind ever since I met you.”“Anna, I think there's something about you… something different… something alluring…”“Only a crazy man would see them and not desire someone so precious.”“Please stop…” I muttered, my breath ragged. My head felt light as I stepped backwards. “Are you alright?”I heard Noah ask but it sounded as though he was many distance away from me. The banging in my head had increased by maximum. I couldn't see clearly. I staggered, clutching my head. Everything was spinning. Rotating. “What's happening…”Then came the voices. Like noise. Uncomfortable.

Anna's POV “Um…” Noah started, but then stopped as though reconsidering. “C’mmon. I promise you won't regret it,” Sabrina pressed on.Wait…Hold up!Did she just purr at Noah??“Well, I guess we can’t turn you down. Not after you did this for us…” He motioned to the arranged office, a grateful beam on his face.She giggled, gave us the address of the hotel for the party before she left. By 6: pm, Noah and I arrived at the Hotel. I was already itching to be in my bed as I was already tired with all the arrangements and rearrangements of the office, taking care of some paperworkers that needed to be done, and didn't pay much attention to the hotel until we'd walked in and I'd settled in. The party kicked off, and honestly, I had no effing idea I would come to enjoy it. It was so nice. Meeting the other audit team members. And aside from the fact that Sabrina was doing all she could to get Noah to eat her up for the night, everything else was perfect. The mood was right. The atmos
