I heard the sound of high-heeled footsteps coming from behind me. I turned around and saw Vanessa hurry over with a furious expression on her face. When she looked around and found the bodyguards who had been hitting me, she frowned. However, when she saw Josh with his bloody nose, her expression turned worried. “What happened? “Are you alright, Nessa?” Josh looked at Vanessa worriedly. Vanessa looked at the blood and yelled, “I didn’t think you were so heartless, Redmond! Break his legs!”At that, Josh looked at me. His eyes flashed with a slight frenzy. He got into the car, and he had the bodyguards position me with my legs in front of the tire. “You’re dead, Redmond!” he yelled as he hit the gas pedal. “You’re too kind, Vanessa. The Day family is nothing now. He injured you, so I want his whole family to pay for it!”Lying on the ground, I panted hard. The car was getting close to me, and I could feel the pain of the tire pressing down on me. “You’d better stop now, Vanessa! The insignia was a shield of platinum, and it represented the world’s top security company. It specialized in emergency security jobs. As I lay on the stretcher, I could not help but smirk. Then, I burst into laughter. “Don’t be so worried, Ms. Whitecastle. Take your phone out. For all you know, there might be good news waiting for you!”Right after I said this, her phone rang. Vanessa frowned as if she was getting a bad feeling. “M-Ms. Whitecastle, for some reason, every single one of our business partners is saying they want to break relations with us.
