I woke up again in a cramped room, realizing that my hands and feet were bound together.I could tell from the scent that this was somewhere in the Moon Pack—probably a thatched hut tucked away in a hidden corner.Before I could fully open my eyes, a bucket of cold water was suddenly splashed in my face."Get up, bitch! I'd always heard that Eva was one of the fastest wolves in the Werewolf Alliance, but I never expected her to show up this quickly. However, I knew from the bulging veins on her muscles that she'd used every ounce of her strength to get to me as quickly as possible.She saw the reopened wound on my shoulder and immediately gasped and covered her mouth. Instantly, the she-wolves who had been swaying their bodies to the music stopped. They turned around to stare at me, confused as to what was going on.The music also stopped abruptly. Soon, only the sound of everyone's breathing could be heard in the office.I leaned leisurely against the doorframe, and Cole looked very stunned to see me.He had wanted to yell at me at first for daring to interrupt him and barge into his office like we did.
