Marcus Smiling with pride, Marcus looked out at his pack, gathered to watch the trials and celebrate their collective strength. This day always reminded everyone that the guards worked and trained hard to ensure the pack stayed strong and safe. In front of the crowd, the competitors stretched and readied themselves while the cubs ran around releasing nervous energy. The Others

Makenzie Never in her life had she expected to meet members of the council's elite, the clean-up crew. Unlike most of her kind, she did not fear them; she looked up to them like children looked up to comic book heroes. Her father told the girls stories of their strength and bravery each night before bed, and she had dreamed of growing as strong and brave as they were. This admiration was not enough to convince her to automatically give in to them, though. She needed to see what she was made of and could think of no better way than to surprise them at this first meeting. First Impressions

Abioden Today's mission was unlike the normal missions given to the King's Elite Guard, the so-called “clean-up crew”. Rather than entering the pack lands to hunt down enemies of the council, they were here to meet with Lycan King and plan another attack for the next day. Planning was always done in the kingdom or at the council compound; they were never called to a random pack. From their base, normally they would go straight to the target, preferring to keep a low profile, but there was something about the Blue Moon Pack that had the King calling for them. Being a creature of habit, these changes made Abe uncomfortable. The trip had started like any other, with the team crowded into two armored vans, some sleeping while others just relaxed on the drive. The

The Team

Marcus Marcus stood by the dias looking at the changes in his world, trying to process. As the members of the Kings team arrived, something Marcus would have been willing to do anything to prevent just days ago, the first contenders returned with their prizes. Abe, the team leader, and Kayden, the team member that Travis had intercepted, stood with the King, silently watching what was happening. While the twins and Travis met with each returning wolf, Marcus and Marcia greeted the King's team, letting him start to know the people rather than their reputation. This gave them a reason to stay apart and helped to hide their new scents from the pack by blending them with other species and the King.

Working together

Dmitri The pack hall was full of shifters, all eating as if their food would be taken away from them. At the side table, partially hidden from view, the Alpha's circle stays close, sitting with the seven new warriors and the King. The atmosphere was warm and comfortable as Nia and Suzy had instantly connected with the twins and were chattering away like old friends. Travis seemed enthralled as he spoke to Kai and Min, the oldest members of the team. They were treating him to slightly embellished stories of their past adventures and he was on the edge of his seat, hanging on every word. Jackson, the pack's Beta, sat with Seth, the Gamma, trying to guess what type of shifter each member of the team was, much to the other's amusement as so far most of their guesses had been far from correct. Attack

Marcia The trials were going better than she could have ever imagined. The female competitors were holding their own, and they had taken all of the first slots in both the tracking and race portions of the day. All they had left was the battle arena, lunch, and then her Luna ceremony. She had not been scared about the event before, but the thought of being a crown princess scared her to no end. So far, she had managed not to focus on the information, but it was getting harder and harder as the time got closer.
