Chapter 11

Once again, she ended up on his bed after being beaten and kicked by him. Her first attempt at fighting back only led to a tragic outcome. Her entire body ached because Dominic had fucked her against her will once again. The pain she had felt the night before was still there, and now she had to endure it all over again. Her pleas and tears meant nothing to him because he was heartless. He even slapped her as she tried to break free and kicked him again.Belladonna lay naked on the bed, helpless. Her tears streamed down her face endlessly; all she could feel was pain whenever she moved her legs, but beyond that, what hurt the most was her heart. Her hatred for Dominic Costa blossomed even more within her heart. She vowed that she would never forgive him for every cruel torment she had suffered at his hands, even if she were to be freed from him someday.Dominic, who had just finished cleaning himself up, came out of the bathroom. He looked quite satisfied with what he had just done. Sh

Chapter 12

Cigar smoke billowed as Dominic smirked, smugly satisfied at Belladonna's despair. Apparently, she cared more about others than her own life. Rather than killing Belladonna, he preferred to torture her for his own twisted amusement.“I beg you, don't drag Estelle into this!” Belladonna pleaded. She seemed unable to fight back against him and could only surrender to his cruel torture and suffering for the sake of not dragging Estelle into her misfortune.“I told you, didn’t I… it all depends on you. If you still dare to go against me and still dare to ridicule or scoff at me, then I won’t hesitate to order my men to catch your friend and have some fun with her in their bed. So now the choice is yours, Belladonna.”She lowered her head, her hands clenched tightly. She tried desperately to hold back her tears, thinking that perhaps it was her destiny. Never mind, she would be fine, she told herself as she steeled her heart.“I will obey you and will not ridicule you anymore. But you must

Chapter 13

Dominic was quite satisfied upon hearing what Helena had to say. He would not let Belladonna have his child when all he ever wanted was Bianca. However, he couldn't help but dwell on what Belladonna had said about Bianca not wanting to marry him. He wondered if he had been deceived by Marino's family once again. If so, he would find out if what Belladonna had said was true or not.If what she said was not true, it meant that she had tricked him to make herself look pitiful, and of course, he would not let her get away with her lies.Belladonna had finished cleaning herself up. She dressed in clothes that slightly covered the bruises on several parts of her body so they wouldn't be visible. She had to go to work, so she couldn't let anyone see them, as it would be too humiliating.“Miss Belladonna, don't you want to eat first?” Helena called out as she was about to leave.“No. I don't want to touch anything in this house, especially your master's food. I don't want to owe him anything!

Chapter 14

“Bella, what took you so long?” Estelle walked up to her as Belladonna entered the restaurant.“Sorry, I ran into my mom outside. So I talked to her for a few minutes.”“Okay... are you feeling okay?” Estelle stared at her, looking concerned. To be honest, she couldn't sleep all night long, thinking about Belladonna being dragged away by a man she didn't know.“I'm fine, Estelle. I'm sorry for dragging you into this and getting you all mixed up in this mess.”“You didn't drag me into this, Bella. Don't say that, I don't like it. We're both friends, so it's only right that we help each other."“Thank you, I'm really grateful to you. You're so kind, but I almost hurt you. Please forgive me... I promise I won't get you mixed up in any more trouble.”“What the hell are you talking about?” She was completely puzzled by what Belladonna was saying.“Whatever it is, I'm sorry for almost hurting you.” Belladonna felt truly guilty. Just because she wanted to get away from Dominic, she almost hu

“What? What kind of illness do you have?” Estelle stared at her puzzled, as Belladonna smiled faintly.“I have a rare illness that causes me to lose my memory gradually. If you hadn’t called me earlier, I might not have made it here because I forgot about this restaurant.”Once again, Estelle was shocked. “What?”“Please, Estelle... if I forget a few things, would you please remind me? I’m afraid that one day, my memory will fade and I’ll forget everything about you and our friendship. So, you have to keep reminding me that you and I are best friends.”One thing that Belladonna did not want to forget was her friendship with Estelle.”You poor thing, how could this happen to you?” Estelle wrapped her arms around Belladonna. Never did she imagine that Belladonna would suffer such a terrible fate and be afflicted with a rare illness that would cause her to lose her memory.“You’ll help me recall things if I forget, will you?” Belladonna asked.“Of course, you don't need to worry because

Chapter 16

Belladonna screamed in horror. She rushed to the door, trying to escape from the house, but Dominic quickly caught up with her, trapping her so she couldn't run anywhere. She cried out in desperation, begging for mercy. But he was blinded by rage and would not let her go, violently throwing her onto the bed.She writhed and gasped for breath. “Please... Dominic, I didn't mean to—”“Shut up. I’m not letting you go.” His voice was cold as he gripped her wrists even tighter.Once again, she had to end up there, beneath him, submitting to his carnal desires and facing another round of his brutal treatment. Even if she hadn’t said anything wrong, he would have tortured her anyway.*****Early in the morning, Dominic left his room carrying a bag. Belladonna was still asleep. He didn't wake her, as he had to leave hurriedly to do something important.Just then, he received a report from his men that they had spotted the enemy he had been searching for all this time, Orlando Cooper. He was a

Chapter 17

“So you want me to be his pet, is that it? You want me just to give in when he tortures me so cruelly, and I have to take it, Helena?”“It’s not like that, Miss Belladonna. I’m sure you won’t be tortured if you don’t go against him. Try to hold on and don't go against him. It's for your own good; otherwise, you'll end up being tortured badly by him."“Well, thank you for your advice. Maybe it's best if I try not to go against him.” Even though her heart was screaming no, it seemed like she had to give it a shot.“I hope you won't get tortured again. Trust me, as long as you're being a good girl and obeying him, there's no way Mr. Dominic would hurt you. Now you have to take your pills, Miss.” Helena walked over and handed her the pills she usually had to take. After taking the pills, she asked Helena to leave the room as she wanted to be alone. Again, Helena reported to Dominic that Belladonna had taken her pills and that she had witnessed it herself.Belladonna wrote down the evil de

Chapter 18

“Are you okay?” asked Estelle, who had been overhearing Belladonna’s phone call with Bianca.“I’m okay. Well, though my marriage is so miserable, I don’t want anyone to know what my marriage is really like, especially Bianca. Let her think that I’m happy with my marriage, so I don’t look pathetic.”“One day, God will surely reward you for your sacrifices, Bella. Trust me, the sky isn’t always gloomy. Sometimes it becomes bright, just like your life, which will surely be bright one day.”“Thank you, Estelle. Now tell me, have you found the extra side job I wanted?”This was extremely important, as she wanted to earn some money to pay off her debts as soon as possible. Perhaps this way she could also repay the money Dominic had lent her foster father. If she could pay him back, she could also break free from Dominic’s clutches.“You asked the right person for help, Bella. I've found a job that pays pretty well, but we'll be working in a bar. Don't worry, all we have to do is serve drink

Chapter 19

It had been almost a week since Dominic went away. During that time, Belladonna had enjoyed her life since no one was tormenting her. She had forgotten about Dominic's existence as she had never seen his face again. However, Belladonna still returned to Dominic's house because Estelle always reminded her that she lived there and also reminded her that she was married, though Belladonna had never seen her husband in that house. Since she had thrown away all the medicine the doctor had given her, Belladonna's memory was getting worse day by day. She was even confused as to why Helena always gave her birth control pills every morning. She always read the diary she had when she was feeling confused, but the cruel torture Dominic had put her through when she first got it began to fade from her memory, as she had no record of where he had first violated her. She also overlooked the scribbles she had made at the time, thinking they were not particularly important.Every day, Estelle sent her

Chapter 20

Why did she have to go back to the warehouse? Belladonna didn't really get what Dominic was saying. She wondered if they were fighting, so she had to be punished and sleep in the warehouse. She had no clue, and it was like a big question mark hanging over her heart. But she still did what he told her to do. She put her clothes back on and went back to the warehouse after asking the maid where it was. Belladonna sat there for a long time, staring blankly like a fool who knew nothing. Truth be told, her mind was as blank as a slate, and she felt like she was in a daze, as if she had lost all her memories. Then she picked up the diary she always kept on her bed and read through it. It was then that it dawned on her why Dominic was furious with her. Her mobile phone beeped, notifying her of a message sent by Estelle. The content of it was similar to what she usually sent. Just as Belladonna was about to quickly change her clothes, Helena stopped her as she had to take her pill again. Alt
