Marimar Oquendo's Point Of View I sat quietly on a sofa I never dreamed I’d even see in real life, let alone sit on. God, it was hard to believe I was actually inside something that resembled a castle. I mean, it was technically a mansion, but damn! The exterior was straight out of a fairy tale. Like the castle from the opening of every Disney movie ever made. Massive, beautiful, unreal. Seriously, I was one lucky girl. Three hours had passed since we’d left the hotel and started driving again. I'd slept through most of it, and so had Levi. He was still asleep now, sprawled out next to me, his small body heavy against my side. He’d drifted back off as soon as we'd entered this castle. I sat perfectly still, afraid to even twitch, the atmosphere in this house was so heavy, so overwhelmingly opulent it was hard to breathe. Every surface gleamed, whispering, no, shouting in my face about how ridiculously expensive it all was.
