Semua Bab Rejected by my mate, Claimed by Alpha Ryder: Bab 91 - Bab 100

~ Blade POV ~I stood outside Doris’s ward, giving myself a hundred reasons why I shouldn’t go inside. After the heated argument I had with Ryder, I had finally accepted the truth—Doris was not mine to claim. She belonged to him, not me.Still… I would be here for her. Like always. Even if it meant watching from a distance. Even if it meant waiting for a moment that might never come, when I could finally claim her as mine.Lost in my thoughts, I suddenly heard a loud noise coming from Doris’s room.I rushed inside. My eyes instantly dropped to the broken vase and the arrow on the floor.“What happened?” I asked sharply, scanning the room.“An attack,” she said quickly, still breathing hard. “Through the window.”I didn’t waste another second. My expression changed instantly. Then I saw him.The masked man outside the window, running.“Stay here. I’ll handle it,” I said immediately.“No—Blade,” She tried to stop me.I didn’t

“So you’re behind everything happening to Doris, right?” I shot back, my voice sharp, cutting through the heavy silence between us.My father didn’t answer immediately. Instead, he watched me—calm, unreadable. Then he spoke.“You think I would actually kill her?” he asked quietly. The question made me pause. It didn’t sound like a lie but it didn’t sound like the truth either.I waited.Something about the way he said it didn’t sit right with me.“I aimed that arrow to scare her,” he continued. “Not to kill her.”A bitter laugh escaped me.“You expect me to believe that after you just threatened to kill her?” I asked, my voice low but filled with anger.“No,” he replied calmly. “I expect you to think. For once.”Before I could respond, he stepped closer.Close enough for me to see the blood still running down his face… close enough to feel the weight of his presence.“I need you to move,” he said. “I need you to stop hiding in

“What the fuck did you just say?”My father’s roar filled the private room like thunder. He lunged forward and grabbed my shirt with both fists, shaking me hard. His eyes were wild, veins bulging on his forehead. I had never seen him like this genuinely scared before.“Alpha Stone is alive,” I repeated, keeping my voice steady. “He’s been treated in a hidden basement at the pack house as we speak.”“I heard you!” he shouted, still gripping my shirt. “How is he alive? He died three years ago! We made sure of it!” His voice cracked with panic as he shook me again.“Dad, I don’t have all the details,” I said quickly. “I only found out recently. I’m still trying to understand how he’s alive. I followed Ryder one fateful day and saw it with my own eyes. Ryder and Ms D were down there, treating him. His eyes opened, but he couldn’t see anything. Ms D said he has memory loss. He probably won’t recognize anyone right now.”My father released me and stumbled bac

I stared down at the notebook in my hands.Doris’s notebook. My fingers moved on their own, flipping through the pages again and again, like repetition alone could force answers out of ink and paper.Maybe I missed something.Maybe there was a hidden meaning I didn’t see the first time. But every page looked the same.Half-written thoughts. Quiet notes. Empty gaps that didn’t explain anything. And that was the worst part. The silence inside it felt intentional.Like the truth was there… just not for me yet.My mind wouldn’t stop spinning. Why now?Why was everything from my past suddenly coming back in pieces I couldn’t understand?First my father’s lies. Then the necklace. Now this notebook.I flipped one more page.Still nothing.I let out a shaky breath, closed the notebook, and slipped it deep into my inner pocket. No more time. I had to move.I walked toward the door and stopped just before it.I pr

** 3 years ago **~ Alpha Stone ~The house was unusually quiet that afternoon.I sat alone in the sitting room, half-watching a movie that I wasn’t really paying attention to. Ryder was away on a trip with Blade and Julius. The house always felt different when he wasn’t around—less noise, less tension, but also less life. From the kitchen, I could hear the faint clatter of dishes. Luna Elena. She had been in there for a while now. Cooking again.A small smile touched my lips.Cooking was her escape. Whenever something weighed on her mind, she would lose herself in flavors, spices, and recipes—like she could stir her worries away.Just as I leaned back into the couch, a soft voice broke the silence.“Greetings, Alpha.”I turned immediately.Nana stood at the entrance of the room. For a moment, I hadn’t even heard her come in.“Nana?” I said, surprised, then smiled warmly. “What brings you here?”She walked toward me quickl
