I asked on Wednesday morning while he was pouring coffee and he looked at me for a long time before he said fine, but Klaus goes with you. I told him Klaus ran like a refrigerator with legs and would slow me down. He said then you don't go. So Klaus went with me.That was how I ended up on the sidewalk at six in the morning with a man twice my size trying to keep pace while I warmed up. He wasn't terrible, I'll give him that.
