Damien’s POV:I was not in a good mood, at all and I can feel it. I just want this meeting to be over. I wanted to be with Sasha. I wanted to start the mating process. My wolf Knight has been on edge since the attack. He wanted our mate to be close to us. Sasha’s POV:'Everyone go to your room or the safe house now. I need warriors and some guards at the pack house NOW!' I heard Damien say through the mind link. What the heck is going on? I tried to mind link him, but he blocked everyone out, including me. "Hey, you think everything is okay," I asked Allie. She turned around facing me, "We need to get to safety. What if it was those rogues that came back?" She said a little worried.We walked the opposite direction of the pack house. But something inside me told me to walk back and go to the pack house. Mel was there and so was Damien. I couldn't bear anything hurting him or even Mel. "Allie, I'm going to turn back,and head to the pack house. You can go on and head for safety." I said to her, "What! no Sasha, you can’t be serious. If anything happens to you Damien will kill me." she said with concern. "He won't hurt you, you're his pack member. He loves you all," I said truthfully.I then turned around to walk towards the pack house.

Sasha’s POV:I stood there in my wolf form very shocked, I'm sure my mouth must be wide opened. Why would Jack risk his life for me? I thought he hated me so much, I thought to myself. 'I need the pack doctor here at the border and some warriors too' . I mind linked the pack. I turned back to see Damien biting down hard on Xavier wolf’s neck. He was winning, thank goddess. The dark brown wolf shifted to his human form and Damien also shifted back to his human form. I stayed in wolf form though. There was no way I was going to shift back to my human form with no clothes around. The other wolf was an older man. He looked to be around his late forties.
