Aria's POV "It’s been buzzing for three minutes, Lucien," I whispered, reaching back to stroke his hair. "It might be important ." He finally reached out, his hand grabbing the device. He glanced at the screen, and I saw the familiar, cold tension return to his jaw. He didn't answer, but he didn't put it down either. He stared at the name on the caller ID, his thumb hovering over the red button. "Go on," I said, sitting up and pulling the sheets to my chest. "See what it is. And don't you dare think about hanging up, else, you'll spend the whole breakfast wondering which part of the empire is on fire." He sighed, sitting up beside me. He swiped the screen. "This had better be worth a life, Marcus."
