LIORAÉ“Are you going to move?” I asked, my eyes widened as I continued to stare at him while convincing myself that it was because of how close he was. I was convincing myself that I was itching to kiss him, not because I liked him but because of how close he was to me. He leaned in and held the back of my neck. LIORAÉ“Twenty thousand dollars?” My hand dropped from the tag of the dress as I turned to Soren with fear in my eyes. The dress cost my entire month's salary. I was sure that we would get something I was going to be able to pay back, but I couldn't pay that back; there was no way it could happen. “We can’t shop here,” I declared. “Do you not like any of their selections?” Soren asked, and I was tempted to lie. SORENI dropped Lioraé onto the bed as gently as I could. I lowered close to her and watched her. After confessing she wanted to be with me, she had passed out and was sleeping soundly. How had I been so carried away by the event that I didn't notice she was all by herself, drinking? I got up and got out the nightgown from her bag. LIORAÉI feel Soren’s hand press into my body as the body dips slightly. His lips pressed into the side of my face, and I turned slightly to him, still very sleepy. The rays of the rising sun seeping in from the curtain hit my body with warmth. This was the most comfortable I had felt in years, and it was strange that even I recognised it. “You tricked me,” I murmured. “I did.” He was not even trying to hide what he had done. "If I didn't, then I wouldn't have the chance of waking up next to you like this." After making me one of the best meals I have had in recent times, he somehow convinced me to stay until it was too late. The weekend trip of pretending to be a couple had ended with me in his penthouse and not in the guest room this time.
