Julian doesn't let me go. He matches my release with his own, a deep, prolonged roar that echoes off the high ceilings of the gallery. He thrusts deep one last time, pinning me to the wall as he pours his heat into me. I can feel him pulsing inside me, a heavy, thick throb that feels like he’s trying to brand me from the inside out.We stay like that for a long time, the only sound the dripping of wax from a nearby candle and our ragged, synchronised breathing. He keeps his forehead pressed against the back of my neck, his arms wrapped around me as if he’s afraid I’ll vanish if he lets go.The sun is still hours away, but I can already feel the weight of the night pressing in. I am exhausted, my muscles trembling, but when Julian pulls back and turns me around, his eyes are still full of that dark, predatory hunger."The shadow is kept at bay," he says, his thumb tracing the dark circles under my eyes. "But the light is a long way off. And I have only just begun to explore the treasur

The first grey light of dawn touches the high windows of the gallery, and with it comes a cold, terrifying dread. Julian’s skin begins to smoke. Thin, grey wisps of vapor rise from his shoulders as he hammers into me for the final time. The spell is breaking, the magic dissolving back into the air, but he refuses to let go."Look at me," he snarls, his voice cracking like dry parchment.I turn my head, my cheek pressed against the cold floorboards. His face is a blur of motion and desperation. The handsome, solid man I’ve been with all night is turning back into the ghost of a libertine. His eyes, once dark and full of life, are starting to look like flat, painted ink. Yet, his body is still inside me, his movements more violent and brutal than ever before. He is trying to beat the sun, trying to pour every remaining drop of his borrowed life into my womb. The sensation is almost too much to bear. I am raw, my body aching from hours of his relentless weight, but the force of this fina

Marvin doesn't give me a chance to breathe. The kiss is brutal and possessive, a total takeover of my senses that tastes of expensive whiskey and raw authority. His tongue is a heavy, even weight that demands my total surrender. I am lost in the heat of him, my hands clenching the fabric of his shirt as if it’s the only thing keeping me from falling off the edge of the world. He pulls back just enough to look at me, his eyes dark and dilated. "You've been holding your breath for six months, haven't you?" he rasps, his voice a low vibration that I feel in my very bones. "Every time I asked for a file, every time I stood too close behind you at the copier... you were waiting for this.""Yes," I whisper, the truth finally spilling out of me like a broken dam. "I was waiting."He growls, a deep, animalistic sound of satisfaction, and dives back in. But this time, he isn't interested in my mouth. He moves to my neck, his lips hot and demanding against my pulse point. He bites the sensitive

Marvin towers over me, his massive silhouette swallows me, making the room feel small. He doesn't move to hide his size, instead, he stands there, letting me take in the full reality of him. He is a mountain of hard, tanned muscle and dark, pulsing veins. My eyes travel down the length of him, my breath catching in my throat. He is thick, so much thicker than the fingers that just finished wreaking havoc inside me. The thought of all that heat, all that heavy weight, actually fitting inside me seems like a total impossibility."Look at it, Iris," he says, his voice dropping to a gravelly, commanding low. He reaches down and guides the blunt, dark head of his cock to the very edge of my entrance. "This is the moment. This is where the quiet little assistant vanishes forever. Once I’m inside you, there is no going back to the way things were at nine o'clock this morning."I am trembling so hard the desk feels like it’s vibrating beneath me. My legs are draped over his shoulders, my heel

The fluorescent lights of the lobby feel like an attack on my eyes. It is seven AM. I am standing in the elevator, watching the floor numbers climb toward the penthouse, my heart hammering heavily and quick against my ribs. Every time the elevator jolts, I feel a sharp, heavy ache between my thighs, a constant, pulsing reminder of the way Marvin possessed me on his office desk only hours ago.I am wearing a cream-colored silk blouse and a charcoal pencil skirt. I chose a lower neckline than usual, just as he suggested. When I caught my reflection in the mirrored walls of the elevator, I saw the dark, purplish mark on my collarbone where his teeth had claimed me. It looks like a brand. I didn't try to cover it with concealer. The thought of him seeing it, of him knowing I obeyed, makes a fresh wave of heat bloom in my gut.The elevator dings. I step out onto the plush carpet of the executive floor. The office is quiet, the morning staff still settling in at the far end of the hall. I w
