DarcieThe entire class, I couldn't focus. My mind was centered on what Sloane had been asking me to do for her. Implicate myself. That would be the most embarrassing thing to do. But she was so hellbent on watching me do it. I tried my best to distract myself from thinking about it, but I can't. I just laid my head on the desk and slept off. When it's closing time, I rubbed my eyes, feeling so tired and I was already enjoying my nap. I grabbed my bag and Jax and I walked out of the class. Charles' move quickly beside us, heading to the car. When we got outside, Jax and I waved before he left. I slipped into the front seat which Charles had opened for me. He drove out of the park and into the road. We still didn't say anything. As it should be though. He glided into the mansion before the engine stopped. I opened the car door and before I could walk from it, he hurriedly slammed his door and scurried towards me, grabbing my hand and pinned me to the car. “What are you doing?” I gas

Darcie I blinked, trying to process if it's just me dreaming or It's really Arthur. I mean, since when did he get better from the stroke. He walked in, surprising Charles and I. Maybe their parents knew about his health. He walked in better and different than how he was. Like he had gotten a glow up after the stroke. The maids walked upstairs and Mrs Sterling walked to him. “Ohh, Arthur, my son.” She opened her hands for an embrace and he hugged her. “I've missed you. Welcome back, my darling.”“I missed you too mom.” He smiled and looked up to his father. “Dad…” he walked towards him and they hugged. “Welcome back, Arthur.” Mr Sterling smiled. Then, Arthur raised his head at Charles who's still holding on to me. The three of them now staring at us like we were guilty as thieves.“Brother…”“Don't call me your brother.” Charles' hissed. “It's disgusting.”“Charles'!” Mrs Sterling screamed. “How could you say that to Arthur like that? After he just got discharged.”“I don't underst

DarcieThe beads of sweat that formed on my head dropped on my paper. I'm pretty sure I was the only one sweating. I wiped it off with my Cardigan. My chest thumped hard. I couldn't do it. I couldn't do it. But with the threats, I had to. I looked around first. Mrs Henderson was staring at her phone and the other teacher was at Sloane's row. My fingers found its way to the folded paper in my cardigan sleeve. I let a corner of the paper slip till it peeked out beneath the edges of the desk. I looked back at Sloane and nodded. Then she nodded back and smiled mischievously. Suddenly, she let her papers, pen and pencil fall to the floor on purpose. “Jeez!” She raised her voice trying to cause attention. Then bent to pick it up. “Mrs Henderson…” “Yes, Sloane?” She walked forward. Sloane picked her stuff together and pointed towards the front “I think Darcie has something under her sleeve.”Every head turned towards me and I inhaled shakily. This is it. My heart accelerated as Mrs Hend

Darcie The video of Sloane breaking into the office made my stomach churn. I was summoned to the Academic integrity committee office, AIC. Principal Cross was present with all other teachers and some administrative staff. I felt so embarrassed and ashamed for something I didn't do. Something I never knew about. The video footage was spread across a projector and I bowed my head, like I was really sorry and unfortunate. I watched it with my own two eyes. Sloane ran at the security guard and hauled him to the floor. He got up but she pushed him to the wall. Poor old man. He couldn't fight back. She pounced on him with strength and there's metal around her fingers. She punched him countless times till he was weak and bleeding and helpless on the floor. My hands flew to my mouth and I covered it because the scene was so terrible to watch. She then opened the door and walked in, opened a sealed file and collected one paper. That was it. Then she ran out. Her face wasn't even showing. She

Charles I couldn't stop pacing around my room. It didn't make any sense. Why would Darcie do such a thing? And her new character was overwhelming. What exactly is her problem? My phone rang and when I carried it from the bed, the name on the caller ID almost made me throw the phone away. That stupid Sloane has been sending me stupid love messages. Gosh, I dislike her so much. I sat on my bed thinking, maybe I should just go talk to Darcie again. I left my room and walked to hers. I knocked twice and called out her name but she didn't come out. Now I was knocking countlessly times but she wasn't out. Maybe she was sleeping. I sighed and went back to my room. When it was almost dark, I left my room and headed to the living room. I just took a seat and my parents cascaded the stairs. Oh shit. People I tried to avoid. “Charles'!” Mom rushed to my chair, blocking my view from watching the television. “So it is true, that girl you claimed you love is nothing but a violent piece of trash
