I didn’t know why, but I felt a sharp pain in my head as I tried to open my eyes.As my eyes opened slowly and I took in the white ceiling, I wondered where I was. I still wasn’t seeing clearly; everything was blurry, and I struggled with my eyesight. The pain in my head wasn’t helping at all, it increased by the second.I tried to move my hand, but a sharp pain hit me, forcing me to keep it down immediately. “What was happening?” I tried to sit up, but a sharp pain in my stomach sent me back to wherever I was lying. “Wh…” The word hung in my throat when I heard a sharp sound.For a second, I thought I was hallucinating, until it came again and again, forcing fear to creep into my heart. I lifted my other hand, and when I didn’t feel any pain, I used it to wipe my eyes, hoping it would help me see clearly. Luckily, it did, and when I followed the sound of the voice again, my eyes landed on him.
