~JAXON/RONAN~ “You slept with Serena?” I asked Louis on the phone as soon as I was far away from the apartment.“I told you not to leave me alone with that girl, Boss. She's a seductress and I… I tried to resist but it was so fucking hard” He uttered into the phone.“She was drunk, Louis,” I pointed out.“She sobered up by the time we got to my house. I would have never slept with her if she was drunk” He quickly said and I sighed.“You were the one who told me not to complicate things with Isla and you went ahead to sleep with her best friend?” I asked and he groaned.“I didn't want to but damn it, Ronan. That was the best sex of my life” He uttered and I scoffed.“It seems you both think the same way about each other” I told him.“She talked about me?” He asked.“Yes. She came all the way to Isla's house just to tell her what sort of a good fucker you are. I had to get out of there before I threw up” I muttered and he sucked in his breath.“Good Jesus. That boosted my ego a little

~JAXON/RONAN~ I recognised the blond pretty boy almost immediately I got closer to them. He was the guy that had refused to get out of my way when I went to pick Isla up from the club. His eyes widened with recognition as soon as he saw me. “Oh I didn't mean to bother your girlfriend” He uttered as he stared up at me. “My boyfriend? He's not my boyfriend” Isla immediately corrected and the hope that appeared in his eyes almost made me punch his cheeks. “He's not?” He asked and she nodded. “He's My brother” She said and the horror that crossed his face made me smirk. “But you had made him promise you to sleep with you that night” Authur whispered as he tried getting close to her but I placed my hand on his chest and pushed him back slightly before he could get closer. “I did what?!” Isla screeched, making everyone in the lobby turn towards us. She turned to me with wide eyes. “You didn't tell me that” She muttered through clenched teeth and I shrugged. “Was trying to save y

~JAXON/RONAN~ “She wants to go on a date with a guy she barely knows. He has an accent and so damn what? He isn't even that cute” I complained in the passenger seat of Louis’ car.I had immediately called him to come pick me up because I needed to put a little distance between Isla and I.“I'm still wondering why this is bothering you so much” Louis muttered and I pursed my lips.“Because…”“Because what? Her being with another man isn't going to stop the plan so why does it matter?” He asked and I turned to him.“It does stop the plan” I told him.“May I ask how?” “Because if she has a man, it's only a matter of time before she kicks me out. Even if she doesn't want to, her so-called man would want me out. How am I supposed to find the key then?” I asked and he rolled his eyes.“Sure. This whole reaction is because of a key” He muttered sarcastically And i glared at him.“Excuse me?” I asked and he cleared his throat then turned to me briefly.“Why don't you try to get the locatio

~ISLA~ “Are you okay?” Arthur's voice snapped me out of my thoughts and I turned to him with a smile.“Yes, I thought I saw someone but I guess not” I replied and he glanced behind him before turning back to him.“Can we proceed with our stroll then?” He asked and I nodded. We continued down the path and I learned a lot about him and his family dynamics.Arthur was the oldest and had two youngest siblings, a sister and brother. Despite the fact that his mother was very protective, he had an amazing life with everything handed to him on a silver platter. It was his idea to branch out and make a name for himself and that's why he had been at Diamond Enterprise that day to get them to be one of his investors for his new project.I had expected him to be self centred and a snob but Arthur was really respectful and listened to every word I said even if it didn't make sense. “Ice cream?” He asked as we stood in front of an ice cream truck and I nodded.“Vanilla please” I replied and h

~RONAN/JAXON~ I let out a groan as I held my face in my hand.“So let me get this straight. You told Isla you were going out on a date?” Louis asked as he sat down on the couch opposite mine.As soon as I left Isla's house, I called him up and he drove me back to my mansion and for some reason, I couldn't stop thinking about what I had said to Isla. Why had I even lied about going on a date?“Louis, leave me alone” I warned as I massaged my temples.“I'm just trying to understand why you lied…”“I also don't know, okay? Fucking shut Your mouth” I ordered and he pursed his lips while I let out a sigh.If he found out I had secretly followed Isla while she was on a date with Arthur, I would never hear the end of it and he would come up with several reasons as to why I did that.I didn't want Isla, not in a relationship way at least. Yes, she was sexy, so fucking sexy I have had to stop myself from taking up her offer because I knew that was only going to complicate things. Was this w
