Lahat ng Kabanata ng His Fake Hired Girlfriend: Kabanata 131 - Kabanata 140

Ethan's POVI pace around the small space of my hotel room, picking at the skin around my fingernails. I am a fucking monster. I pushed the girl I love into a fucking cabinet. I'm the reason she has a massive gash in the palm of her hand. I'm the reason that Phoebe is terrified to be touched by me. I'm the reason my family is pissed off at me. I'm the reason that I am in this hotel room when I should be in bed with Anna. I hear a knock on the hotel door, and I already know who it is. I rush over and unlock the door, opening it to let my dad in. "How is she? Is she okay?" I ask, continuing the pacing that I have done for the last two hours. "She's okay. She didn't know that you had left. "You didn't tell her?" he asks. "No. I couldn't. I knew that if I saw her, I wouldn't leave. I couldn't…I couldn't see her and know that I hurt her. I fucking hurt her, Dad," I say, voice breaking. "You didn't mean to. You just...""I lost fucking control. I just lost fucking control of my anger a

Anna POV An entire day has passed, and I still have no word from Eth. I had waited anxiously for Dane to get home from seeing him, but he didn't give me any information on what Ethan was thinking. He was with him all night. He has to know more than what he's telling me. "He just needs some time by himself," he said, shrugging and giving me a sad smile. "It's okay, though. We're all going to go shopping, so you still need to come along." He says, trying to include me in the rest of the family's activities."I think I just want to stay here. "I'm pretty tired," I say, giving him a forced smile. "Anna, I think you should come along. Ethan wouldn't want you sitting alone on vacation." He tells me. "He's doing it too," I mumble, crossing my arms. "Yes, and I told him that hiding away wasn't going to make anything better. He needs to come home. But just because he's hiding away doesn't mean we're going to let you do the same. You're coming with us. End of discussion." He says, pointing

Anna POV "She's like twenty pounds. It's no problem." He assures me with a gentle nudge. We continue to look around the shops for the next few hours. We are all exhausted, and Dane finally pulls Dee away so we can all go back to the house."Have you heard from Ethan?" I ask Lizzie once I see that Garret is out of earshot."Yeah, he called earlier." She tells me."He has his phone now?" I ask, instantly pulling the iPhone out of my pocket."No, he called on the hotel phone. He just wanted to check on everyone and make sure everything was okay." She informs me. Sadness washes over me, and she comes over to pull me into a hug."I miss him so much," I say, trying my hardest not to cry. "He misses you too, love. I think he might come over for breakfast tomorrow." She tells me, trying to lift my mood.Breakfast tomorrow? I want him today. I want him right now. I don't want to keep waiting."Can you ask him if he can come any earlier?" I ask, hoping that she will see how desperate I am for

Anna POV Is this kind of shady? Yes. One hundred percent. Absolutely. This isn't something that I should be doing, and I am well aware. I need to trust Eth, but you know...he is the one who left me here alone. With his phone. That's practically an invitation to snoop, right?Right.I go to his pictures first and scroll to the top. To my pleasant surprise, he has no pictures of Haley. He has more pictures of things and places than he does of people. Nature, food, and drinks take over probably 80% of his photo storage. Pictures of our trip in Vail are there when I scroll up. A picture of me and Phoebe playing in the snow and pictures of us eating at dinner were taken, and I haven't ever seen these. They were taken when we didn't know, but they are amazing pictures. I would have loved for him to send me these. So, I do. I went through and sent myself all of the pictures that he had taken while we weren't looking. He has pictures of the two of us that we had taken while lying around the

Ethan POV "Of course not. I pulled away and I punched him in the face." She laughs."I'm so proud of you," I say in a joking manner, but I am completely serious. I lean down to kiss her and lift her up and into my arms. Although my family might walk in here any second, I don't give a shit. I hadn't seen Anna in days and I missed her. I want to be as close to her as humanly possible."We need to get in there before they come out here and see us like this." She laughs, giving me one last kiss. I set her down, but instantly miss the way she feels in my arms when she's gone. "Is Phoebe up?" I ask, wanting to see her next. God, I missed these girls so much."Yeah. She's in the kitchen helping Lizzie make pancakes." She smiles. When I get into the kitchen, I sneak up to the little girl watching my mom make breakfast and go in to tickle her gently. She laughs loudly and turns around, shrieking when she sees me."You're back!" She says, smiling widely and wrapping her little arms around me
