Ari The car slowed to a stop in front of a pair of tall black iron gates. Beyond them, the private club rose like something out of a dream. I stepped out and froze in awe. The building was set back from the road, framed by tall, perfectly trimmed hedges and soft golden lighting that glowed along the stone pathway. Dark wood and glass made up most of the exterior, giving it a modern but yet timeless look. Warm light spilled from the large windows, and a long reflecting pool ran along the front, the water was so still that it mirrored the entire structure. Soft music drifted faintly from somewhere inside, mixed with the gentle sound of water. The gardens were carefully landscaped, with neat rows of flowering bushes, low lanterns tucked between the greenery, and stone paths that curved gracefully toward the entrance.
