"Ryder," Gio taps his chest and Ryder snaps out of it. "Here," he hands Ryder the keys. Well, he was sober when he said of that. Nice to know. I walk away from the two and head towards the car that Lincoln is going into. Then I feel a hand grab my arm. I turn around and see it's Ryder. I try shaking his hand off of my arm but he won't let go. This man's grip is very strong. "Let go of me," I say trying to rip his handoff. He doesn't say anything he just stands there. I stop fighting back and stand there as well. I don't look at him and just stare towards the side. He just holds onto me, and stares at me, with an expression that he clearly wants to say something.I look at him with an unpleased face, "I told you don't apologize right now, if that's what you're about to do. If you're about to try to make up for everything you just said," I finally rip out of his hand."Don't. At least not right now. Let me not be drugged up and angry to give you a proper response," I walk away and g

"Ms. Rayne," Mr. Black says with a serious tone."I'm sorry I got caught up in something," I say trying to regain my breath.I should work out more."It's fine. Take your seat," he says smiling at me and patting my back.I sit down and he begins the lesson.15 minutes later.I'm in the middle of writing my essay when the Principal comes in. He nudged his head for Mr. Black to come outside. "I'll be right back everyone. Keep working on your essay," he walks out of the classroom. We have to write an essay about what life means to use and why we have struggles in it. I'm only on my second paragraph. I keep staring at the window looking at the snow piles.Dad would love these snow piles.Cant wait to go home and be under 20 blankets watching a movie. I hear a gasp come from outside the classroom and Everyone turns their attention to outside the class. Wonder what's going on out there.Mr. Black comes in with color lacking from his skin. It looks like he's seen a ghost. "Ms. Ry-Ryen,"

Ryder Kingston ||What am I even supposed to say?Uh.Shit.She pauses what she's doing and stares at me waiting for me to speak. I try reading her face but her face is emotionless making it hard to read. I need to tell her I'm sorry for what I said. I need to let her know I don't think she's pathetic. Why would I even say it in the first place?I mean, I barely even know her well enough. But from the stories, she's told us, she's not pathetic. She's strong. Going through what she's gone through is heartbreaking and deteriorating, yet she did it. I clear my throat, "I just wanna say I'm sorry," I adjust myself in my chair facing my whole bodytowards her, "I'm sorry for calling you pathetic.""You are anything but pathetic.""Can't say the same about you," she retorts back. Ouch. But I can't say I didn't deserve that.I laugh, "I deserved that." She nods her head with a small smile across her face, shrugging it away."What I said to you was out of line. It was pushing too far," she

Home sweet home."Welcome to Tony's Chewy Dewy Cookies! What may I get for you- Analia? Is that you?" says Tony who's the owner of the place."Holy crap! I haven't seen you in forever!" he says filled with excitement. He looks behind me and sees Ryder."And what lucky guy did you bring here?" "This is Ryder. Ryder, Tony.""Hey," Ryder says giving him a small wave.Tony waves for me to lean in and I do so. "He's quite the cute one," he raises his eyebrows."I know right?!" I whisper back. Tony laughs and starts grabbing and box already knowing my order."You know she's our favorite customer, just don't tell the other customers. She always use to come here," he places the cookies one by one in the box. "Yeah, she told me. Always wanted to try this place but what a coincidence I met someone who loves this place so much," Ryder says walking up closer behind me.Tony closes up the box and passes it to me. I grab the box and I can smell the fresh cookies through the cardboard.Mm. Can't

I only stopped two times. Gio stopped five times, then Apollo stopped 2 times. Gio made Ryder fall causing us another 10 to be added. After our push-ups, we started actual exercises. He had us run a lap around the building, which wasn't so bad. The worst part was when we had to work on our core.I swear I felt my insides burning. Not in a good way. Now, Lincoln's wrapping my hands in bandages for boxing. I got paired up with Elijah to help me with the beginner stuff.I could go for a burger after this. I only had one of Ryder's nasty protein bars between breaks.I needed something in my system. Don't judge me.After Lincoln finishes wrapping my hands, I go over to Elijah and he tells me the form to start in. He then tells me to start hitting his palms. After this we move onto punching bags. I kind of feel bad because he said to give it my all but he doesn't know what he's asking for.I hit his palm once and then another, this time harder. I wince at how hard I hit him."I'm sorry. I
