All Chapters of The Alpha Kings And Their Stripper Mate: Chapter 331 - Chapter 340

Eve's POVThree months. It had been three months since the Conclave gavel came down and Vassin's voice filled the hall and everything Malachai had built for twenty years started coming apart at the seams.Three months of waking up in the same bed every morning and not having anywhere to be except here. Three months of the pack settling around her like it had always known she belonged in it. Three months of Damian's coffee already made when she came downstairs and Damon stealing from her plate and Silas appearing in doorways without knocking because he never needed to.Three months of something that felt dangerously close to ordinary. She should have been grateful for it.She was grateful for it.But something was wrong. It had started small.Dreams that weren't quite dreams. More like feelings that followed her out of sleep.....a pull, low and insistent, like a thread tied somewhere behind her sternum being tugged from a distance. She would wake up and lie still and try to locate it a

"Eleven seconds," Damon said."Three bonded mates present," Vessa said. "All three. At the throne. At the moment of ascension." She looked at the three brothers. "No Seraphim heir has ever ascended with three bonded mates. We don't know what that number does to the completion time."Eve looked at her mates.Damian looking back at her steadily.Silas already thinking ahead. She could see it in his face.Damon with his arms crossed and his jaw set and his eyes on her with the expression he used when he'd already decided something and was waiting for everyone else to catch up."We're going to the Court," Damon said."Yes," Eve replied."All of us.""Yes," she said."And we're doing this before Varek gets any closer."***Vessa stayed back for dinner.Nobody had asked her to but nobody had suggested she leave either so she had stayed. After dinner Eve found her in the kitchen washing up.She stood in the doorway."You've known about Varek for a long time," Eve said."Yes," Vessa said. She

Eve's POVThe throne room was at the heart of the Court. Not the center of the building. The heart of it. The place everything else had been built around, corridors and chambers and formal halls all arranged with this room as the point they radiated from.Raphael led them through corridors Eve recognized and corridors she didn't. Deeper into the building than she'd been before. The stone getting older the further they went. The light changing, less of the artificial Court lighting, more of something else. Something that came from the walls themselves. She felt it before she saw it.The pull in her chest shifted. Not stronger exactly, Just....different. Like a compass needle that had been spinning for weeks suddenly finding north and going completely still.Raphael stopped in front of a set of doors.Old. Dark wood. Iron handles worn smooth from centuries of hands. He looked at Eve."Ready," he said. She nodded. He pushed them open. She had expected something grand.High ceilings. Gold

Eve's POVThe throne was closer than she expected. Not the distance, she knew the distance, had measured it with her eyes from across the room. But the feeling of it. The warmth coming off it got stronger with every step and by the time she was ten feet away it was almost overwhelming. Not painful.Just...full.Like walking toward a fire on a very cold night. She kept walking.Behind her she could feel her mates moving with her. Damian at her right. Damon at her left. Silas directly behind. The three bonds warm and steady and present.Raphael had told them where to stand.Damian at her right hand when she sat. Damon at her left. Silas directly behind the throne. Three points of a triangle. The bonded mates anchoring the binding completion from three directions.Nobody had ever ascended with three bonded mates before.Nobody knew what it would do to the completion time. They were about to find out.She was five feet away when Varek moved. She felt it before she saw it.The cold thing t

When Seraphine knocked Eve was ready. She came in with Raphael and Vessa behind her.Maya pushed past all of them.Came straight to Eve.Looked at her face."Are you okay," she said."Yes," Eve said."Actually okay or I'm fine okay.""Actually okay," Eve said.Maya studied her for another second. Then she nodded."Good," she said. "Because Vessa cried in the corridor and I didn't know what to do.""I did not cry," Vessa said from behind her."Your eyes were wet," Maya said."That's different," Vessa said."How is that different.""Maya," Eve said.Maya looked at her.Eve raised an eyebrow.Maya pressed her lips together."Fine," she said.***Seraphine stood in front of the throne. She looked at Eve directly."The formal announcement needs to go out today," she said. "To the full Conclave. To all faction leaders. To every supernatural governing body that recognizes this Court." She paused. "Once it goes out there's no taking it back.""I know," Eve said."The political consequences wi
