The next week went by slowly for the first time since I arrived here, as Leo had said that morning, he was not pulled around from meeting to meeting, or from one pack to the next, he was able to take his days slow and fully, spend all of his hours with me. Most of the time, he wanted nothing more than for us to engage in more than cordial activities, which we certainly did many times to his satisfaction. But we also spent so much time in the palace gardens, due to spring fully taking control of the land and allowing the warmth we all missed during winter to return, it was beyond peaceful and calm. It also allowed me to forget about Henry, father, Simon and all the other swirling thoughts that had consumed my brain for many weeks and even, years from when I was a rogue.
