Once I had blurted out what I believed this man could have done, Leo’s deadly eyes left mine for a moment and looked over to the man who had been thrown to the floor by three guards. The mark induced sleep, was the deepest and most restful sleep I believe I had ever gotten, my body was so deprived of energy due to the mark taking everything, not even the regular flashback which seemed to take ahold of my mind whenever I was at rest appeared, my brain was able to shut off completely. Finally, getting out of my bed and reframing from accidentally, saying things which allowed Leo to only pull me back into bed, I walk into the bathroom to begin to get ready. I won’t deny that due to what that man had admitted doing yesterday when I was in the shower, a hint of worry did creep into me as I walked into the bathroom. But Leo stating he had guards stood at every door or window to the palace and he was to stay in his bedroom while I showered, there was not a single chance that another person who wanted to watch me shower would enter. So, with this thought in mind, I strip the beautiful summer dress which had been on my body for over twenty-four hours and walk into the water hoping to wash the worry of being watched down the drain. Chapter Twenty-Eight: Ownership

Leaving Leo to deal with his predicament alone, even though my wolf was begging me to walk into the room and help in a more than friendly manner, I look through the clothes I had been given and pick out a simple pencil skirt and a long-sleeved top. I did worry I’d walk back in the bathroom and catch Leo dealing with his predicament, but hearing the shower shut off and the doors to the room beside me open, I head into the bathroom to tame my locks. As Leo had explained, the reminder of my morning was spent with Maria, she had planned such a great day, giving me tours of the palace gardens which Leo couldn’t due to me finding the jewels and with the weather being so lovely, she even arranged for us to eat lunch in the garden.
