The Alpha’s Mysterious Luna のすべてのチャプター: チャプター 51 - チャプター 60

~Brady~ I know the second Lindsey arrives. Her scent, that calming lavender with the slightest hint of vanilla, is almost addicting. Right now, the families of the alpha, beta, and gamma are greeting guests, one of my least favorite tasks. Thankfully most of the she wolves are intimidated by my mom and won’t make moves on me. I say most. Jacqueline and her family just came through. She acted like my collar needed fixing. Mom thankfully came to my rescue and made it obvious that Jacqueline needed to move on. At the moment, everyone is mingling outdoors. Mom really outdid herself on this one. There’s little twinkle lights hanging from the trees, lanterns lighting the pathway, fire pits underneath the tree line, and large outdoor heaters in the open area to help ward off the cold. So far it looks as if everyone is enjoying themselves. I see the Garcia family walk up with Lindsey and her dad. It’s nice to know they’ve made friends quickly in the pack. Anna walks up to hug

~Brady~ “You’ve had an eventful night,” I say as I walk up to Lindsey and smile. She seems happy, though a bit overwhelmed. “Yeah no kidding. Did any of you know?” She asks. “Nope. Grant probably wouldn’t have hit on you if he would’ve known.” We both laugh. I definitely plan to hold it over his head for the rest of the our lives, even if he claims he didn’t have romantic feelings towards her. “So are you here to claim your dance?” She asks, her eyes sparkling. I think green is my new favorite color. “I guess I am.” I take her hand and lead her under the twinkling lights where others have started dancing. I pull her close, putting my other hand on her waist. She rests her hand on my shoulder while a popular slow love song plays. “Oh I love this one!” She says with a smile. “By the way, I meant what I said earlier. You look beautiful, Lindsey,” I meet her eyes. Somehow she looks even more breathtaking under the moonlight. “Thank you. I tried to tell you earlier, but you

~Brady~ I wanted to stay. I wanted to protect her. But I have to protect the pack. I know she’s safe with Grant; even at 18 he’s one of the best warriors in our pack. Plus Tom is guarding Mom. The packhouse is probably the safest place for Lindsey. But here I am, running beside her father, who is the only person who can identify who this intruder is. And if it’s that son of a bitch that terrorized Lindsey, I’ll tear him apart on the spot, consequences be damned. I’m going slower than my max speed to match pace with John. Dad and Uncle Dave will probably get there first. We’re about five miles from the border when Uncle Dave mind links the pack that the threat has been neutralized. I just hope they didn’t kill him. I want that pleasure. John and I arrive where Dad, Uncle Dave, and a few others are guarding this injured wolf. He shifts back, probably commanded by my dad. He’s whimpering in pain. “That’s not Blaine. Thank the goddess,” I hear John through the mind link. I’m

~Brady~ I had to get out. Quite frankly I was ready to storm into White Fang territory and rip the bastard limb from limb. Instead, Tom pulled me to the gym against my will and has me taking out my anger on a punching bag. “Dude you’ve been at it for half an hour with no break. When are you going to tell us what’s got you so worked up?” Colton asks, sitting in the corner looking up from his phone. “I get that someone crossed the border, but it’s taken care of now.” “You don’t know the half of it.” “Then tell us. Why are you so pissed off?” “Because Walt is a fucking idiot and his nephew deserves to die for what he did to Lindsey.” I say, almost yelling. “If I ever see either of those bastards again, they’ll be dead by the time I’m finished with them.” “Woah. Care to elaborate?” Grant asks, now invested. I look over at Tom. I know he heard everything I did. I continue hitting the bag but decide to explain. “Some idiot named Blaine tried to force himself on Lindsey af

~Lindsey~ I wake up, the scent of sandalwood dancing in the air. I startle for a second before remembering that Luna Maci told me Dad would pick me up in the morning. I look over and see Aunt Cammie and Mrs. Darla asleep on the other couch. “Good morning Lindsey,” Luna Maci whispers from the kitchen. “I had someone bring up a spare set of clothes and toiletries for you. They’re in the guest bathroom.” She smiles. “Thank you,” I whisper back and slowly make my way there. I turn on the shower and wash off. I can’t find a hairdryer so I do the best I can to towel dry my hair. Luna Maci has great taste; the clothes that were laid out for me are super cute. There’s a chunky silver sweater with a bow on the back, some dark skinny jeans that almost feel like leggings, and some simple black sneakers. I would never guess that these clothes were randomly grabbed by an omega. After brushing my teeth, I step out of the door only to run into a six pack of abs. I look up into bright
