CHARLOTTE’S POINT OF VIEW. The kiss is anything but gentle. Instead, it breaks into me, stealing the breath from my lungs until I feel the need to come up for air. Adonis grabs me, hands feeling my body all around until my skin comes alive under his touch. To my surprise, I don’t push him away. I pulled him closer……not because of the cameras, or the people around us……but because I want to kiss him like this. The reality strikes me hot; Adonis tenses under my fingertips when I reach for the back of his neck. My lungs burn as I pull back, my other hand still gripping the front of his shirt like I need something to hold on to. The room is in chaos. Applause and shouting ring from all around, cameras flashing so fast it feels more like lightning. But none of that matters, for two reasons… one, my body still feels the force of that kiss.
