CHAPTER SIXTY-EIGHTKatelyn didn’t budge, she didn’t even move a muscle while Stella stood above her, eyes screaming murder. “That’s it! I have had enough of this.” Stella charged at Katelyn’s sleeping form on the bed. She grabbed her by the shoulders and shook her–hard.“Wake up.” She commanded, “Open your eyes!” Stella dug her sharp fingernails into Katelyn’s shoulders with every intention of hurting her. Anyone might hate her for this, or call her names for being violent with someone going through so much pain, but Stella didn’t have much of a choice. If physical pain was what could erase the numbness Katelyn felt to an extent, then so be it. It worked momentarily, because Katelyn cried out, trying to shove Stella away. Stella’s finger dug deeper, enough to break through Katelyn’s skin. Another cry tore out of Katelyn’s throat and with all the power she could conjure, she finally managed to shove Stella off.
