Liora’s pov“Correct yourself, mum,” Selene said with a straight face.“I spoke proper grammar. I don’t need corrections,” Ravenna stated boldly. I just stood there staring at Ravenna while she glared back at me. “Why’d you think it’s ok to speak to Liora like she’s an outsider?” Selene asked in anger. “Joy has finally grazed the doorstep of our family and you’re working extra hard to ruin it. Liora’s povDarious checked if there was any one in the passage before shutting the door behind him.“What the hell are you doing, Liora?” He asked with a curious but disappointed look on his face.“Take a guess, Darius,” I said with the intention of pushing him aside but he firmly held onto me. “Let me go!”“Why now? You could’ve left two months ago, hell, you could’ve left after the wedding. So why now? What are you unhappy with that didn’t bother you two months ago? Is it because of Selene’s pregnancy? Are you unhappy that she’s welcoming a bundle of fresh joy into her life?”“Don’t be ridiculous, Darius! How the hell would I be sad that my own sister is pregnant? Selene’s pov“ Hey darling… how are you feeling today?” My mother asked as soon as she saw me step out into the hallway.I smiled, “ of course you know I surely feel good. Especially for my sister, she delayed hers just to make sure we could get our gender reveal done on the same day.How intentional of her to actually want to bond with her long lost sister.”Her face was cold, and only when I tapped her shoulder did she get startled, and turned to me.“ Yeah sure.. er.. yeah she did good.
