Astrid’s POVI stood in the middle of my new quarters after Davian left, trying to process that this was actually mine. The space was bigger than I’d had in years, decorated in neutrals with touches of deep blue and silver. The living area had a couch that looked like it was actually meant to be sat on. Bookshelves lined one wall, already stocked with a mix of classics and contemporary titles.
