I rushed into the guest bathroom down the hallway, heart pounding so hard it felt like it would burst. The moment the door jammed shut behind me, I bent over one of the three sinks lined up before the bathroom stalls. And then it came again, the ugly wave and I threw up everything I had in my belly.
