Lahat ng Kabanata ng The Wolf King's Secret Son : Kabanata 121 - Kabanata 130

MatthewI open the door to my room, exhausted from a busy day of managing the pack's affairs.I let out a sigh, eager to relax in solitude.“I’ve been waiting for you, handsome,” a voice says.My eyes lock on Jill, her body lying across my bed. She’s wearing a baby pink camisole, the peaks of her breasts peeking through the thin fabric.“Did you have a rough day, my love?” she asks.I shiver at the nickname and smile at her.“Let me make it up to you.”“How do you plan to do that?” I reply with a smirk. She stands and moves toward me, grasping my shirt in her fingers and tugging me closer to her. She grins devilishly up at me before her mouth lands on mine. I sigh into her, the feeling of coming home washing over me. I grow hard at her touch, eager for more.My arms wrap around her waist, and I pull her body to mine. She moans into my mouth.“Is this helping?” she asks softly.“Mmm, yes.”Jill slowly kisses down my chest, lifting up my shirt to access my skin. She moves lower and lowe

Jill POV“Please, Rick, I’ll have more money by the end of the week. Just let me stay a little longer,” I plead with a playful smile, clasping my hands together dramatically.Rick gives me a sharp look with his brown eyes. I was fortunate to stumble onto the motel at the edge of a small human town. Rick had seen my state and taken pity on me. He offered me a room, and the next day, he took me into town and bought me food at the diner before introducing me to Mel, the cafe owner. Admittedly, she was terrifying at first with her sass and take-no-shit attitude, but she quickly grew on me.He has a soft spot for me and quickly became a father-like figure.“I’ll have enough tips by then, I promise,” I say sincerely. “You know I’ve nowhere else to go and no way to cheat you out of the money.”He grunts but reluctantly relents with a grin.“Alright, girl. But at the end of the week, you’d better have something to show for it. I didn’t introduce you to the cafe for you to dick around. Mel is

Matthew POV Five years laterI race through the trees, my claws digging into the dirt for traction as I propel myself forward. The sunlight catches on my back, and I let out a content sigh.Every morning, I run to clear my mind. Most nights are filled with restless sleep, so I wake up with the sunrise, eager to shake the uneasiness from my body. It usually helps, but today, I feel even more tense than usual.“Something feels different today,” I tell my wolf.He grunts in response, but I push the thought away, not thinking anything of it.I slow down as I approach the clearing where we camped for the night to rest before we continued our hunt. It’s been a week now. Our progress has been slower than I would’ve liked, and I’m eager to return to the rest of the pack after we accomplish our goal.I wish I could keep running for a while longer, but I know my morning jog has already taken enough time. I see the others in the clearing, talking amongst themselves. When they see me, they pause

Jill“The usual, Lily?” I ask the middle-aged woman in line carrying her yoga mat over her shoulder. She grins at me and nods.“Yes, please! I swear, Jill, your pastries have to be laced with something. They’re too good. I have an addiction for sure!”I laugh as I prepare her muffin and black coffee. I hand it to her before ringing her up.“Enjoy your yoga class,” I tell her sweetly.“I’ll get you to join one day!” she exclaims as she takes her purchase and leaves the bakery.I get quite a few regulars who come in daily or weekly for my pastries and baked goods. I enjoy every single one of them, proud of myself for developing such meaningful relationships in such a short time.I glance at the clock, noting the time. It’s almost 2:30. Owen has his piano class every Thursday at 3:00, so we need to leave soon in order to walk there and make it in time. I look over my shoulder and see him coloring in the room beside the kitchen.“You okay, baby?” I called Owen.He looks up with a toothy g

Matthew POV I watch her walk away with a dumbfounded look on my face. My wolf grows more agitated by the second, as do I when a realization truly hits me.She had a child with someone else.My chest squeezes in pain like my heart is splintering. How could she do that?I hadn’t taken her as the type of person to blow off steam by being physical with someone. But had I been wrong?Did my driving her away push her into the arms of another? Was he still in the picture? My wolf growls at the idea of someone else touching her. The idea of another man placing his hands on her, kissing her, eliciting moans from her mouth—I turn red with anger and jealousy. But the reaction makes little sense to me as I start walking through the city, allowing my wolf to guide me to Michael and the others still engaged in their pursuit. When I finally find Michael, he shakes his head in disappointment.“There are too many places to hide here, Alpha,” Michael admits. “I’ve lost their scent.”“We should rest h
