Audrey's eyes snapped open before her alarm even rang. She threw off the duvet and dashed into the bathroom. She didn't have a good sleep; her thoughts ran through the night. With Sophia by her side, her fear and anger intensified, a low hiss escaped her lips every time Sophia turned in bed. Audrey let out a deep breath, trying to maintain her composure as she left the boardroom demurely, but by the time she reached the door, her father had already left. ‘What brought him to the company? Did he hear what he wasn't supposed to hear? She opened her laptop to start work on her new organization.
