Kaelen’s POVIron bars separated me and the man seated on the damp floor of the cell room. His arms rested on his drawn knees with his head inbetween them. He looked a lot more different than the man I remembered.Chains rattled behind me, dragged along the bars it was wrapped around, but I didn’t take my eyes off the man before me. There were bruises on his arms and legs. I didn’t need him to raise his head to know he had more on his face too.I had a feeling Ashton was behind it.
