The club smelled like leather, sweat, and something sharper underneath,like fear mixed with arousal. Lena pushed through the heavy door after the doorman checked her name against the list. No phones. No real names past the threshold. She’d signed the papers weeks ago, the ones that listed limits and hard stops, but standing here in the dim red light of the main floor made those papers feel like they belonged to someone else. She wore what they’d told her to: a thin black dress that barely covered her ass, no underwear, heels that forced her to walk careful. Her wrists were already cuffed loosely in front of her with soft leather, a temporary pair the attendant had clicked on after she stripped in the locker room. The metal rings on them clinked when she moved. A man waited near the far wall, arms crossed. Tall, broad through the shoulders, dark shirt open at the collar. Silver at the temples.
