บททั้งหมดของ FUCK MY CRUSH: FAKE DATING THE HOCKEY CAPTAIN: บทที่ 1 - บทที่ 10

MEGAN’S POVI stepped into the small, cramped bathroom of my off-campus apartment and turned the metal dial on the shower. While I waited for the water to heat up, I stared at my reflection in the cloudy mirror. My long, unstyled hair was tied back in a messy ponytail, and my thick glasses covered a large portion of my face. I removed my glasses, placed them carefully on the edge of the porcelain sink, and stripped off my stained work uniform. After I stepped under the hot spray of water, I grabbed a bar of simple soap and began scrubbing the diner grease from my skin. Because I had just finished a long six-hour shift at the restaurant, my legs felt very tired and heavy. Once I finished washing myself, I turned off the running water, wrapped a thin towel around my body, and stepped onto the cold tile floor. I dried my skin thoroughly, walked into my small bedroom, and put on a pair of gray sweatpants along with an incredibly oversized, baggy sweater. When I was fully dressed, I pus

MEGAN’S POVCaleb stared at me for several long seconds, and his arrogant smile slowly disappeared from his face. Because he was so used to everyone obeying his commands without question, he clearly did not know how to process my sudden rejection. He shifted his heavy hockey bag higher onto his shoulder, crossed his thick arms over his chest, and let out a harsh, mocking laugh that echoed across the empty concrete courtyard."Are you actually trying to break up with me right now, Megan?" Caleb asked, stepping closer to me so he could use his height to intimidate me. "We are not even officially dating yet, so you cannot break up with me. You are just having a bad morning, and you are taking your completely unjustified anger out on me.""I am not having a bad morning at all, because I finally see exactly who you are," I replied smoothly, gripping the thick straps of my canvas backpack to keep my hands from shaking. "You are a cruel, manipulative person, and I will never allow you to do

MEGAN'S POV"What kind of mutually beneficial arrangement could you possibly need from me, Connor?" I asked quietly, looking up at his tall frame while I adjusted my grip on my heavy shopping bags. He looked down at me with a very serious expression on his handsome face, but he did not answer my question immediately. Instead, he reached out his large hands and gently took all three of the heavy plastic bags from my grasp. Although I initially tried to hold onto my expensive purchases, he easily transferred the weight to his own strong arms and gestured toward the small brick building located on the corner of the busy street. "We cannot discuss private matters while we are standing on the public sidewalk, because anyone could walk past us and overhear our conversation," Connor stated firmly, guiding me forward with a light, respectful touch on my lower back. "We are going to get some warm coffee and sit down inside so we can talk properly." I was already feeling incredibly exh

MEGAN'S POV"I am not a new transfer student, Professor Harrison, and I am definitely standing in the correct classroom," I replied calmly, keeping my voice completely steady while the entire room stared at my face.Since the older man still looked highly confused by my sudden appearance, I reached both of my hands upward and gathered my long, straight hair into my fingers. I twisted the thick strands together, pulled them back away from my face, and secured them tightly into the exact same messy ponytail I had worn every single day for the past three years. I adjusted my new half-rimmed glasses on the bridge of my nose, looked directly into the professor's widened eyes, and offered him a very polite smile."Do you still need a formal introduction from me, or do you finally recognize your top student?" I asked politely, dropping my hands back down to my sides.Professor Harrison physically stepped backward away from his heavy wooden podium, completely shocked by the massive transfor

"What exactly do we need to discuss, Connor, considering that our public kiss was highly successful and achieved exactly what we wanted?" I asked, following him quickly down the quiet concrete tunnel."We need to discuss the immediate aftermath, because Caleb is going to be furiously jealous and entirely unpredictable now," Connor replied smoothly over his broad shoulder. He maintained a firm grip on my hand while he guided me away from the loud noises of the ice rink. The cold air from the arena slowly faded away as we walked deeper into the athletic building. We passed several closed wooden doors before we finally reached a heavy metal door with a small silver plaque that read 'Team Captain'.Connor pushed the heavy door open, pulled me inside the small room, and closed the metal door securely behind us to block out any eavesdropping teammates. The private office was very clean and smelled strongly of fresh laundry detergent and leather equipment. A large wooden desk sat in the cent
