SABLE'S POV I returned to my room after spending quite a while in the restroom. I ended up taking a shower and by the time I returned to the room, Knox was no longer in it. My smile suddenly faded off my face. I didn't want to be away from him even for a second. That was selfish, I know. But sometimes, it doesn't hurt to be selfish. “No good bye.” Mumbled with a frown on my face as I walked on to my wardrobe. I slipped into shorts and a sweatshirt. I tied my hair into a bun as I walked towards my bed side, just then, the door creaked open. I looked towards it, not quite interested with whomever was about to walk in. Just then, my face broadened up with a smile. It was Knox. He hadn't left. I sighed in relief. And not just that, he'd returned with a tray.“I thought you left.” I mumbled looking right at him. Knox shook his head. “Sorry I'm late. I didn't know making tea and roasting bread takes hours.” He added. I laughed out loud. “Fifteen minutes you mean?” I asked.

KNOX'S POV I didn't know how to console Sable. Luncian had died with the secrets she so badly wanted to know of. Except there was a way I could find out what it was which I doubted its possibility, there was no way I could make her feel better. My expression had sold me out. SABLE'S POV I could tell Knox was telling a fat lie. There was no seer elsewhere that could help, Luncian was all that we got. He knew the past and present of this pack, whatever secret he was gonna say earlier, it had to do with the past. A past he was present in, not a past he was trying to foresee. KNOX'S POV The soldier that had come over to Sable's chamber to inform me about the arrival of other soldiers also wanted me to know Alpha Bryn was seeing them all before the council meeting. SABLE'S POV The first place I'd stepped foot into after I left my chamber was the Gamma's quarters. I'd believed Knox and everyone else would be there since they were all supposed to welcome the soldier's, and probably Luncian's body would be there as well.
