A omega girl came to call her, she nodded her head. "Let me freshen up, I am coming down in five minutes." She said, the girl nodded and left. Kaira took a deep breath, she stood near the window of her room. The letter Luna Amelia had given her was folded and kept in her bag. She was not impressed by her progress, she has to find some clue. And who were they? The wolves on the campus gate. If I oy Darren would not have stopped her, she would have gone in the forest behind them. Kaira exhaled slowly. She pushed the thoughts for now, went to the washroom, washed her face and came downstairs for dinner. What was his connection to that girl? Why he always lose control when there is something connected to her... Usually, Darren was loud when he was angry, he shouted, fought and he broke things. But tonight... He was quiet, it felt as his anger was making him go mad and somehow, that was more dangerous. The image kept returning to his mind. “Darren!” Kaira’s voice cut through the entire room. It was not the usual calm voice she used when she spoke to him. It was not filled with irritation, anger, or the cold distance she had built between them. It was urgency and fear. For the first time in a long time, Darren saw something in Kaira’s eyes that made his entire body freeze. She was afraid not for herself for him. His brows furrowed as he looked at her standing across the room, her chest slightly moving faster than normal from running here, her eyes fixed on him. “What happened?” Darren asked. His voice was cautious, almost confused. Everyone around them turned their attention toward Kaira. The noise slowly faded as the tension in the room became obvious.
