From the look on his face, he was finding it hard to believe, but it was true, this stench reeked of the Undead, and that could only mean vampires. I turned around to look at the forest ground. ~ Jasmine ~ When I finally woke up, the burning in my chest was the first thing I felt, it felt like my insides were twisted up, i groaned and tried to move but everything just ached. "Jasmine? The clinic lights were bright and blurry, but after blinking a few times, I saw Freya leaning over me, she looked like she had been crying, and Sofia was standing right behind her looking terrified. ~Jasmine~ I forced myself to sit up on the clinic bed as soon as he left, but as I tried, I felt pain everywhere. Sofia and Freya ran to my side helping me as I rested my back on the pillow stacked behind. Freya moved away, mixing a powdery substance into a glass of water, she brought it to me after swirling the mixture… I looked into her eyes they were filled with worry. "Here, drink this. The healer told you to finish it." I took a gulp from the glass. The substance was very bitter, I almost threw up… "No, I can't. It's bitter," I pushed the glass away feeling completely exhausted. "But it will help you get better," Sofia persisted folding her arms tight around her body, "Unless you want to be here for days." I took the glass cup back and forced myself to finish it all, gagging at the awful taste, I hate feeling this way and the thoughts of spending more time in this clinic was worse. "You're so lucky, you know?" Freya said smiling as she took the empty cup.
