Third Person POV The pressure released all at once, not gradually. It was just gone, and the absence dropped across the market like a second blow. People stayed down a moment, nobody trusting it was over. A woman near the center sat up slowly and pressed both palms to her ears. An old man looked at the crack in the stone under his knee and looked away. Nox was already on his feet beside Sienna, one hand still at his ribs, his eyes on the sky. "That girl is not normal," he said. Sienna looked at the same empty sky. "No," she said. "She is not." They dusted off in silence. The market reassembled itself slowly, traders moving back to their stalls without conversation, doors opening by degrees, eyes flicking up, finding nothing, dropping back down. The girl was gone, straight up, swallowed into the cloud line. Cracked stone was all that was left of her, and a crowd that had stopped asking questions out loud. Sienna watched the empty place where she'd been and said nothing.
