SEEN

NIGHT BLUE VALLEYTRISTAN'S POVA flight to the South was the last thing I expected after what happened to my sister there.I felt they had failed to protect her, which led to her death. That was why I had cut ties with them ten years ago. The pain had festered, hardening into a grudge I never thought I'd break. Every time I thought of the South, I saw her face. Coming here would only bring back sadness and conflict. It wasn't worth it.But because of my pups, I had to override my decision. They needed to come home. Among their blood. They couldn't be treated like strangers when they belonged to a bloodline of leaders from both their father's and mother's sides. The thought of them growing up not knowing who they were or where they came from gnawed at me."Alpha, Alpha Burner is waiting for you in the Pack House," a shielder announced as soon as I stepped off the plane.I hadn't expected him to grant us access so easily. Neither did I expect this level of organized shielders to welcom

OPPORTUNITY

BLUE MOON VALLEY NOËLLA'S POV "You are not eating, baby. Do you want to faint again?" my mate's voice cut through my thoughts. I refused to give him my time. Lately, he was just too stubborn and wouldn't even hear me out. "Do you want something else? Should I ask the Omegas to cook something else?" he queried gently, taking the spoon away from me. A little spark of hope lit in me. My gaze met his soft, worried ones. "What I want can you give it to me?" His gaze widened slightly before he looked away. I held my breath as waiting for his reply. "Not if it's about going to meet the Luna of the Ravenclaw Pack. The fact that she was placed in the dungeon in the past means her mate didn't favor her. Going to meet her in the South will only put you in danger." I exhaled. Yes, he was right. But I wanted to see my friend. I had promised to help, and the fact that we were almost caught that day, yet we didn't save her, had stuck with me over the last two years. Every time I thought of

LOST FRIEND

NEW TOWNLUMA'S POVWith my heart beating faster than ever, I hurried back to my room.Sweet Goddess, how had that shielder even recognized me? Covering my face had been useless. I had been found, and no doubt, in a few hours, Tristan was going to find me. With him knowing my scent and every shielder knowing my face and name, it was only a matter of time before he arrived."Mama, I'm hungry," Hope interrupted my thoughts, her small face coming into view.I released a sigh, forcing a smile onto my face. I couldn't let them see my fear. They were too young to understand what was happening."What do you want to eat?" I asked, trying hard to keep my voice steady."Anything, Mama," she replied. Now that she was better, her appetite had increased. That was reassuring. It meant they were healing normally. It meant I was doing something right.Picking up the room service phone, I called the Omega in charge of our room and ordered a complete meal. My hands trembled as I held the receiver. I fo

LATE

NIGHT BLUE VALLEY TRISTAN'S POV My gaze swept around, ignoring the panicking staff as I waited for my cousins to come back from their exploration upstairs. As if reading my mind, they all came down at once. Their steps on the marble floor filled the silent room with noise. "Alpha, we are late. She left already," Sanders replied, stepping forward. Before I could react, Storm was instantly fighting to take over. 'Calm down. Do we hear what happened, or should we start fighting each other now?' 'Human, for how long do you think we can keep following her around? And why is she always one step ahead when she is clearly not well off? Who the hell is helping her?' No. I wasn't going to do that with him in the middle of the reception room. The shielders were watching. The staff were watching. I couldn't afford to show weakness here, not now. So I turned to Sanders. "Bring me to their bedroom," I whispered. Bowing, he led the way. The room was on the first corridor. Sanders held the h

LOST DREAM

BLUE MOON VALLEYLUMA'S POV"Luna Celeste, I am supposed to be mad at you, Noëlla. The potion still itches so badly," I whined, scratching at my arm."I believe I warned you that none of your potions were inoffensive," Handers teased with a smile."What do you mean? I never made a potion that itched you," she replied, frowning. Her mate chuckled. "Do you know what your problem is? You are stubborn for your own good, and now you've set somebody else's skin on fire."Noëlla stared at me, eyes wide. "Is your skin really on fire?" she queried, but before I could reply, she spoke again. "But why are you reacting this way to the blue needles of the West? I have used it several times on others. It's inoffensive."Her brother and mate both chuckled, only setting her cheeks on fire.I couldn't help lifting my brow. "If it's that inoffensive, then why is it still aching?" I muttered."But... but..." she stammered, then released a sigh."I'm sorry. I'll look for something to help after breakfast

DETERMINED

BLUE MOON VALLEYTRISTAN'S POV"Still fighting with Storm? At this rate, you'll never make it to the Blue Moon Valley," Luis broke the suffocating silence.Yeah. Storm and I had been fighting for hours now. Him wanting to take over, tear whoever had taken our mate away. But I knew better. Everything had to be civil before any fight broke out. We had to do things correctly.'Correctly? I doubt seven helicopters of your elite shielders suddenly landing there is being civil,' he puffed.Yeah, I'm just taking extra measures to avoid our mate running away again. That seemed to silence him. My peace returned but not for too long, as the pilot announced we were landing in thirty minutes."You'll be alright, but I'll have to give you the beating of your life after what you did to Luma," Luis said.I frowned. "Luma? Were you that close?"Luis smirked, and something in me tightened."You're a lucky bastard. I wanted her as a chosen mate, only to hear she had a double mark and couldn't have anot

CONFRONTATION

BLUE MOON VALLEYLUMA'S POVOn my knees, grip tight around my pups, I stared at the ground. Waiting for the mighty Alpha Tristan to finally come. His shielders surrounded me.Hours ago, when his arrival was announced, I had prepared my escape. But turns out the bastard had sent shielders around even before announcing his arrival. How could I have forgotten that the Blue Moon Valley and Nightfang were neighbors and him being in the South didn't stop him from sending his shielders here? I had been so careful, so sure I was safe. And now, here I was, caught like a cornered animal.Noëlla had advised me to wait for his arrival."Once around, shielders will have no choice but to rest because they'll be convinced you can't run away with so much security. By that time, I'll convince Handers to let a few shielders help you out."Who knew that at least fifty percent of his shielders hid in trees? They had been waiting. Watching. Planning. I had walked right into their trap without even knowing

REALITY

BLUE MOON VALLEYTRISTAN'S POVAfter Luma left, her words echoed in my mind like a wound that wouldn't close. How had I not noticed what was happening?"Do you think if you didn't send someone to abuse me, I would have run away?"What did she even mean? How did she conclude I sent an abuser when pack laws strictly forbid it? I had been cruel, yes. I had ignored her, dismissed her, made her feel like she was nothing. But I had never—I would never—"You didn't have to send anyone," Storm's voice cut through my thoughts, heavy with guilt. "You told her many times she was nothing. You showed the whole pack she wasn't worth protecting. They followed your lead."I closed my eyes as his words sank in. I had made her a target, then walked away, too consumed by hatred to notice I had left her vulnerable to vultures. The weight of that realization pressed down on me like a physical burden.I sat there in the darkness, the cold ground beneath me, trying to piece together the shattered fragments

BASTARD

BLUE MOON VALLEY LUMA'S POV "Whatever happened here should remain here," Tristan instructed, his voice cold as he carried Ash in his arms. Silence. Omegas stared at each other in silence. Everyone understood their life was at stake. His gaze scanned the crowd as he tilted his head toward Handers slightly. "I'm sorry about this. I'll pay for the damages." Handers, who had now released his mate, stepped forward. "No need. Ash is family." I thought he would have fought. Instead, he nodded, his gaze returning to Ash's shivering form. That worry. The one I had never seen. Not even once for the years we were together. For a moment, I almost believed he cared. "What is his favorite blood?" he turned to me for the first time since this event happened. "He loves antelope blood and rabbit as well," I replied, my grip tightening on Hope. He nodded, throwing one more glance at our son. "Do we have them here?" he asked Handers, who nodded then turned to the Omegas. "Get the packs of bloo

AGREEMENT

BLUE MOON VALLEY TRISTAN'S POV I was used to threatening. I had threatened so many that I no longer kept count. But yesterday turned out to be a painful day. I experienced hurt probably because of the link between Luma and me. Now that we had been on the same territory for more than twenty-four hours, the bond was slowly awakening. Every moment she was near, I felt the pull. Every moment she was distant, I felt the ache. And knowing that my bad mood was the effect of of hurting just felt so bad. How many times had I made her feel this way? How many times had I pushed her, dismissed her, made her feel like she was nothing? Feeling the echoes of what I made her go through made both Storm and me restless. A growl broke through my trance and I lifted my head to stare at the training pups. Then I walked around the training field, watching Handers train his first-degree shielders. All of them seemed between seventeen and eighteen, fresh out of their tertiary education. Their move
