Nico:It took her too long to come back…I didn’t even care if I found someone half way there, but I had to see where the hell she was.I stepped out of her room, the moment I did, I found myself in the middle of a long hallway.I didn’t know where it was leading me, but I decided to follow my feeling, walking with steady, fast steps.I had a weird feeling, my chest tightened with each step I was making. Then all of a sudden, I heard a noise coming from one of the rooms on my way.I froze, trying to listen if the voice was Catherine’s.“Please!” I heard her crying. Then I heard him, Marcos.I started boiling from the inside, grabbing my gun as I headed straight toward the door, trying to open it, but no matter how hard I tried, it was impossible to open that door.I suddenly heard Catherine’s screaming, then within a few seconds it was Marcos’ turn. My eyes widened, and my hands started to shake when I couldn’t hear Catherine's voice. Then all of a sudden, I heard Catherine crying out

Nico:Why the fuck was she still crying, didn’t she know it wasn’t fair to use her tears as a weapon? She was hurting me without even realizing it.I walked back toward her, I lifted her chin up to look at me.“Why are you crying?” She stared at me in silence.“Aren’t you tired of hiding? Aren’t you tired of running away? Is that how you want our son to live? Don’t you get it just yet? You’re not giving Albie any other choice, you’re making the choice for him already, you’re forcing him into this world!” She said,I frowned as I took a step back. She was reminding me of myself, and my father…My father forced me to become like him!He forced my mother to leave us and marry someone else! He taught me that women can’t be trusted. But now, why do I see myself like I was another copy of that terrible man!Was I a bad father already?“I’ll give him the choice!” I suddenly said.“What if he doesn’t choose your world? Are you ready to accept that?” Catherine took a few steps toward m

Catherine:I waited for the door to open, thinking that Nico was already inside, waiting for us…But again, all that was just a hope, a wish that didn’t come true.Malcolm opened the door for me, placing all my bags inside then when he was about to leave I stopped him.“I can’t accept this house” I told him, but he let out a deep breath then placed the keys on the table, grabbing another envelope from his pocket then stared at me.“This house belongs to Albie, he’s the only one who can decide” He explained then looked at Albie, “Isn’t that right sir?” He teased him then took a few steps toward the door to leave but stopped all of a sudden and turned to look at me.“Take care of yourself…And if you ever need anything, I’m family too” He informed me, sending a smile at me.I smiled back, nodding at him watching him leaving toward his car.My eyes roamed all over the place. It was a huge house, and I couldn’t even return it. Part of me really thought I’d find Nico waiting for us here. I

Catherine:I was working in my office, but all of a sudden stopped when Pam walked in.“How’s my best employee doing?” Pam greeted me before sitting along with me.I looked at her and smiled, “Doing great actually! Two more days and these photos are going to be ready” I informed her, thinking it’s why she was in my office in the first place.“That’s great, but…”She paused, the smile vanishing slightly from her lips.“We can’t use them without having a great, professional writer,” She explained.I frowned, confused by what she just said.Edie was the one who was supposed to be that writer. But he didn’t show up for days.Pam told me he called and told her he wouldn’t be able to come to work.I, on the other hand, thought he didn’t come to work because of that night, the night Nico showed up.Pam then sighed before she gave me a sad look. “Edie quit” She suddenly said.I froze in my spot. “Quit? What are you…” I suddenly paused as the realization hit me.Of course he did! And I wouldn
