MAYA’S POV.ONE WEEK LATER:One week. That was how long it had been since Mrs. Jenny had returned. One week since she had shown up and somehow managed to turn everything upside down. But surprisingly…Things had been relatively quiet.Mrs. Jenny wasn’t living with us at the Voss’ mansion. She wasn’t even allowed to be near the house.Sebastian had made that very clear.Whatever forgiveness he was willing to consider, trust was another matter entirely. He couldn’t simply allow a woman who had disappeared for that long, walk back into his home as though nothing had happened.Still…Mrs. Jenny was trying. At least, that’s what Luisa kept saying. She had been sending Luisa messages almost every day.‘Good morning, sweetheart.’‘I hope you’re eating properly.’‘Can I see you today?’‘Please call me when you have a moment.’Luisa ignored almost every one of them.Just like she had been doing for the past few minutes now.I watched her glance at her phone before locking the screen again.“Yo

SEBASTIAN’S VOSS’S POV:(continued)By the time we got home, nobody was speaking to me.I could still feel both of their anger from the drive back home. And I had no one to blame but myself.I kept my eyes on the road the whole time, my hands firmly gripping the steering wheel.Nobody said a word to me.Not even Maya. And somehow, her silence bothered me more than anything else.I glanced at her through the rearview mirror. She was sitting beside Luisa, staring out the window. She hadn’t looked at me once. Not since we left the café.I knew Luisa was angry too.I could understand that. But Maya?I didn’t even know what she was thinking. And I hated not knowing.A few more minutes passed. Then Luisa finally broke the silence.“Dad.”I kept my eyes on the road.“What?”“What was that back there?”My grip tightened even harder around the steering wheel.“I don’t know what you’re talking about.”She scoffed.“Of course, you do.”I said nothing.“You practically scared that guy away.”“He w

Sebastian’s POV. At this point, it’s safe to say I am a gone man. Because tell me why in the middle of the night I had ended up in Maya’s room. Fucking her like a man who has completely lost his will to function if I don’t have her. Like a man who had slowly forgotten how to breathe whenever she wasn’t near me. Right now… Maya wasn’t simply someone I wanted anymore. She had become the thought that followed me into every room. The face that appeared whenever I closed my eyes. The ache beneath every breath. She was my weakness. My temptation. My sweetest fucking sin. And somehow, the more I tried to stay away from her… The deeper I fell. She was becoming my drug. And I was beginning to fear that I no longer wanted sobriety. “Oh,” I closed my eyes, rocking my hips back and forth. Fucking Maya felt so good. Too good. She was mine. And there was no way I could let anyone take what’s mine. Never. “I’m…I’m gonna cum,” I groaned. My grip tigh

MR. SEBASTIAN VOSS’ POV.My phone rang loudly against my ear.I groaned.I barely managed to open my eyes before the ringing started again. For a few seconds, I considered ignoring it.Whoever it was could wait.I had finally managed to good sleep. After days of barely resting, my body had finally surrendered sometime after being with Maya. And for once…I wasn’t overthinking.I wasn’t fighting with myself over Maya.Because, I’d finally had her after days of dying to.But now, my fucking phone decided to ruin my peaceful sleep.Damn it.The ringing continued.I reached blindly across the nightstand, grabbed it and squinted at the screen.Jessy.My jaw tightened immediately.Of course. Her name had been appearing on my phone far too often lately.Calls.Messages.More calls.I had ignored almost every single one, but apparently she doesn’t seem to get the message.I rubbed my face before answering.“What?”There was silence…Then I heard her crying. My eyes closed and a loud sigh esca

MAYA’S POV.Lunch was finally over, and somehow, Daniel and I had barely spoken. Not after what happened at the restaurant.Gosh, I shouldn’t have made my anger and jealousy so obvious. He kept giving me this suspicious look, like he knew something was wrong and was simply waiting for me to tell him.But I had no intention of doing that. Not now.Not ever.We stepped out of the café, and Daniel walked ahead to open the passenger door for me.“Thanks.”I slid inside, and he closed the door before walking around to the other side. A few seconds later, he got in and started the car.The drive back to school was strangely quiet.I stared out the window, trying not to think about Sebastian.Trying not to think about the look on his face when he saw me with Daniel.Or the way he had called me repeatedly.Or the message he’d sent.‘Where are you going with that boy?’I rolled my eyes. The audacity.I switched my phone off and shoved it back into my bag. I didn’t want to see another call or m
