The black card stayed on the kitchen counter for three full days. Neither of us touched it. Neither of us moved it. It sat there like a silent third person in the house, watching us eat, watching us sleep, watching Liam fuck me every night with a desperation that left bruises on my hips and my name torn from his throat. Thirty days. That was the deal. I felt the clock in my bones. On the fourth morning, Liam woke me with his mouth between my legs. Slow, deliberate, almost reverent. He licked me until I came twice, then slid up my body and pushed inside me without a word. We moved together in the gray early light, eyes locked, the only sound our breathing and the wet slide of his cock. When he finished, he stayed buried deep and pressed his forehead to mine. “We’re going to the next party,” he said quietly. “This weekend. Fifty men. The full circle. I want you to feel everything. And then I want you to come home to me and tell me if it’s still not enough.” I nodded, heart hamme

Liam lay awake long after Ava’s breathing had evened out beside him. The bedroom was dark except for the thin line of moonlight cutting across the floor. Her body was warm against his, one leg still tangled with his, the way she always ended up after he finished inside her. His cum was still leaking slowly from her, a fact he could feel against his thigh. He should have found comfort in that. Possession. Proof. Instead, all he could feel was the black card in the nightstand drawer a few feet away. He had known the moment Mr. Langford opened his mouth that something irreversible had entered their house. Not the money. Not even the hundred men. It was the look that had crossed Ava’s face for half a second before she locked it down—hunger, pure and unguarded. He had seen that look before, usually when the circle was at its largest and she was lost in the overload of cocks and hands and praise. But this time it had appeared in their kitchen, in the middle of an ordinary evening, and i

By the sixteenth day, the house had started to feel like a held breath. We still fucked—often, intensely, sometimes with a kind of frantic tenderness that left us both shaky afterward—but the spaces between had grown heavier. Liam had begun watching me the way people watch a shoreline during a storm warning: constantly, carefully, as if the next wave might take something irreplaceable. I felt it too. The Queen had gone almost completely silent, and that silence was worse than her usual taunts. It felt like confidence. Like she no longer needed to argue her case because the verdict was already leaning her way. Every time Liam made me come, every time he held my face and made me promise I was still choosing him, a small, treacherous part of me measured the pleasure against the fantasy of the black card and found the present moment… sufficient. Not overwhelming. Not endless. Sufficient was starting to feel like a slow death. That night we didn’t host anyone. Liam had been firm abou

Liam was gone, and the house felt like it was holding its breath. I lasted four hours before the silence became unbearable. The black card sat on the kitchen table where I’d left it, face up, the matte black surface swallowing the overhead light. My phone lay next to it. The deleted message thread still lived in my head like a brand. The men have been selected. The sentence had been eating at me since it arrived. Selected. Not recruited. Not interested. Selected—like someone had already curated a perfect, lethal collection of cocks and hunger and power specifically for me. I did something I hadn’t planned to do. I restored the deleted thread and typed a single question. Ava: Who are they? The reply took eleven minutes. Long enough for me to hate myself for asking. Long enough for the Queen to start pacing with excitement. Unknown: Men of means. Men of discretion. Men who have watched your performances and found the current arrangement… insufficient for someone of your capaci

Twelve days became eleven in the middle of a conversation neither of us was ready for. Liam came back to the house on a gray afternoon carrying the same small bag he had left with. He didn’t announce it. He simply unlocked the door, set the bag down, and stood in the entryway like a man testing whether the floor would still hold him. I was in the kitchen when I heard the sound. My heart lurched so hard I had to grip the counter. We looked at each other across the open space for a long moment. “I’m not here to pretend everything is fine,” he said finally. “I’m here because sleeping somewhere else is starting to feel like I’ve already lost.” I nodded, not trusting my voice. We didn’t touch at first. We sat at the kitchen table with the black card still sitting between us like a third person who hadn’t been invited to leave. Liam stared at it, then at me. “Have you talked to them again?” I could have lied. The urge was there. Instead I said, “Yes.” His jaw flexed, but he didn’t e
