All Chapters of Rejected by the Alpha, Pregnant with His Heir: Chapter 131 - Chapter 140

Derek’s POVWhen I got Freya’s breakup message, my chest tightened.I read it over and over again and I couldn’t make sense of it. I lowered my phone slowly. For several seconds, I simply stared at the wall in front of me.I knew why she had done it, at least, I thought I did.She believed I had left without telling her, and that I had walked away again. My jaw clenched.“No.” I dragged a hand over my face. “I didn’t abandon you.”But she wasn’t here to hear me.I knew that was my fault because I should have told her. I should have called her the moment I received the news about my mother.I should have explained that I had no choice but to return to Westridge but instead, I rushed home and now Freya believed history had repeated itself. The thought made my stomach twist. I had already lost her once because I walked away.I wasn’t going to lose her again because of another misunderstanding. My phone suddenly rang, and Eric my Beta was calling. I answered immediately.“Eric?”“Alpha

Freya’s POVI had already been released from custody earlier that week while the investigation continued. The charges had not been fully dropped yet, but the police allowed me to return home under the condition that I remain available for questioning. Derek’s legal team had worked hard to secure that temporary freedom. Still, the weight of the accusations stayed with me every day. I could not fully relax until my name was completely cleared. That afternoon, we gathered in the large conference room on the top floor of the firm. The long table was filled with people. The managing partners sat at the head while Investigators stood near the screen with their files ready. Derek sat close beside me, his presence steady and calm. Lizzy had come as well and took the seat on my other side. My hands rested in my lap, cold and slightly trembling. I had waited so long for the truth to come out, now that the moment had arrived, my heart beat faster than usual. One of the investigators cleared

Freya’s POVA week had passed since the day I was promoted to Senior Associate and somehow my life felt completely different. For the first time in years, I wasn’t waking up wondering what someone else thought of me.I wasn’t worried about Leo or Caroline.I wasn’t worried about what the pack would say.I had my career and my freedom and now… Derek. After everything that had happened between us, I had learned something important.Love didn’t have to mean losing myself. It didn’t have to mean giving up my dreams.Derek had shown me that.He had never asked me to stop being a lawyer.Never asked me to abandon my career.Never asked me to become the woman he wanted. He simply wanted me beside him and somehow that made all the difference. That evening, Derek picked me up for dinner.I didn’t think anything of it.He had taken me out several times since everything with my case had been resolved. So when I stepped outside and saw him waiting beside his car, I smiled.“You look beautiful.”I

Derek’s POVThe moment Freya disappeared upstairs, I remained in the hallway for several seconds still smiling. She had looked so surprised when the elders announced that they wanted to begin preparations for her Luna Ceremony.I could still see the expression on her face.Part excitement, part disbelief and just a little fear and I understood why.Freya had been through enough to know that titles came with expectations. She had spent years being defined by other people’s decisions and this time, I wanted everything to be different.I wanted her to know that becoming Luna wouldn’t mean losing herself.“Alpha.”I turned. One of the guards stood nearby. “The elders are waiting for you in the council hall.”I sighed. “I’ll be there.”I walked toward the council hall. When I entered, all the elders were already seated. The doors closed behind me.I stood before them and spoke openly about my decision to marry Freya and make her the future Luna of the pack.“I know this may seem fast to som

Derek’s POVI couldn’t stop smiling. It was embarrassing and completely ridiculous and I didn’t care.I had spent years imagining what my life would look like but somehow, I had never allowed myself to imagine something this perfect.Freya was carrying my child.Every time I thought about it, I felt the same rush of happiness all over again.I was going to be a father and Freya was going to be the mother of my child. My mate and my future Luna.I couldn’t stop smiling.“Alpha.”I looked up.One of the estate workers stood in the doorway.“Yes?”“Are you sure you want all of this changed?”I looked around the suite.“Yes.”The room had previously been used as a guest suite. It was spacious, bright and perfect for a nursery.I had already called in the best people in Westridge to begin renovating it.“Move the furniture, change the flooring and make sure the windows are properly secured. I want the nursery connected to the main bedroom.”The worker stared at me.“Alpha, the baby isn’t ev
