Chapter 31( Darius Pov)

Darius Where am I?That was the first question that popped into my head the moment I woke up, the air felt different, my ears could hear the hummings of the little insects that should be on the ground, and my sight felt sharper, more sensitive than before.I looked around and noticed the shape of the room, as if a storm had passed through it. I tried to avoid the broken pieces of the mirror and table on the floor.I rubbed my hands on my stomach as I felt immense hunger mixed with weird cravings that I cannot describe, and most importantly, I felt lighter than beforeOne scent stood out; it was everywhere, felt familiar, felt like … Riley.Riley!I stood up straight as I tried to remember what had happened and how I ended up here. As my memories flashed through my head, the intense pain and the urge to remember what had happened were a blur.Riley’s voice started to sound in my head, his face, his cries, and his words started to appear in my head like a flash.One memory stood out;

Chapter 32( Cassian's pov)

CassianHe is attracted to me, and I can painfully tell.‘’Cassian!’’Riley’s voice boomed from upstairs.‘’Is this good enough?’’I moved away from Darius and turned toward the sound of his voice. He had put on a long pair of black joggers, a white hoodie, and black shoes.‘’Perfect, baby,’’ I waved for him to come down before turning back to Darius, who still had a speechless look on his face‘’We will get back to this later,’’ I whispered and stepped away to wait for the eager Riley, and behind him, of course, was Kieran, grumpy as ever.‘’What are you guys saying about Darius flying?’’‘’I told you already he is going to show us his new scales!’’‘’Technically, you asked for it.’’‘’Isn’t that exciting?’’ Riley beamed ‘’We wouldn’t care either way,’’ Kieran mumbledI shook my head at their obvious banter.Hey, ready? Let’s go now.Riley skipped to meet Darius as they held hands and walked out, while we followed. Kieran kept up with my pace as he asked They made up?’’Yeah, Riley

Chapter 33( Riley's pov)

Riley,It’s more than thatIt’s more than fear, although I had told them that I felt fine because I felt guilty of all the care they had towards me, and still, I can’t fully accept what and who they are.I held on to Darius' neck tight as he landed. Cassian had convinced me to ride him, and after spending a few minutes in the air, I started to regret my decision as I started to feel dizzy and nauseous.Darius noticed this and started to land. He landed gently and transitioned immediately as his dragon form disappeared in seconds, and held me in his arms.‘’You ok? Hey, we need water!’’ he called out to Darius and Cassian.‘’It’s just a little spin, I'm fine.’’‘’No, I shouldn’t have said you should ride’’I smiled as I thought to myself, " You are right.’’‘’Your scales are pretty and shining’’‘’At least you are still conscious, that’s good.’’ ignoring my comment‘’I can stand on my own now, you should let me sit up’’I got a scare when I felt myself being carried up as he tucked his

Chapter 34( Kieran's pov)

Kieran’s povSomething is wrong with Riley, but he is hiding it.‘’What was that?’’‘’What was what?’’ Riley replied back‘’Don’t fucking kid with me, you just made a weird expression, what was it?’’‘’If you say nothing, baby, I don’t know what I would do next,’’ Cassian warned I could hear his heart beating fast and his eyes calculating, ‘’Don’t lie to us, " Darius pleaded. Two weeks ago, something changed in Riley’s personality. He became more distant but has been forcing himself to hide it, and we can’t talk about it because Cassian and I know it will trigger him, or worse, break him.He needs to come to us, so we wait, except I am not the type to wait. Even right now, I want to force the words out of his mouth.‘’The thing is.. Rica is back’’Rica‘’Your wolf is back?’’ Cassian said ‘’Really?’’He nodded ‘’ So is one of my powers…’’ he muttered. ‘’Your powers? That power…’’I glared at Cassain at the mention of that power as he quickly reconsidered his words ‘’So your wolf i

Chapter 35(Riley's pov)

RileyPlease don’t goI don’t understand the kind of power I have yet, and neither do I understand what Darius meant when he said the type of powers I have or the fact that I could be a witch.I don’t know what it means to be a witch, nor why he is angry or disgusted with me, but I want to understand. I want to understand him. It’s been four days since he left. I retired to my room after every training session and curled myself up to sleep every night.I felt the absence of Darius every time I trained or sat at the dining table. Cassian and Kieran tried to drag me out of my room, but they failed every time. Soon, they left me be as Kieran got pissed that I hadn’t been listening to him. Cassian feels sad that I haven’t been as jovial as before. As for me, I understand that it is all my fault and I should try to solve it, but I don’t know howI shouldn’t have tried to find out more about what they were hiding from me; I should have allowed myself to stay in the dark‘’For how long do we

Chapter 36 ( Riley's pov)

RileyThe kind of people you meet and keep will either make you or break you.Felix and Oscar stared at me the whole time as I told them everything that had happened within the last few months and the recent ones with Darius.‘’How could he even think of something like that? Does he have no trust in you?’’ Felix lamented at Darius's actions while Oscar kept quiet for a while before saying‘’I think he is right.’’‘’Oscar..’’‘’Listen to me, I would be skeptical too if someone suddenly had powers that almost doomed me and ruined me too.’’‘’But not this hard, at least you would try to think this through, won’t you at least try to find out more?’’ Felix said‘’What did you say your powers were again?’’ Oscar asked ‘’Oscar is lowkey turning into a loud mouth’’. Rica’s voice echoed in my ear. I smiled at his complaint. ‘’I have no idea what they are. I am still trying to figure it out,’’ I replied ‘’Well, we can figure it out together’’ Felix said, grabbing my handsHow?’’ ‘’By tryin

Chapter 37(Cassian's pov)

CassainDarius made his choice when he left, and I left him, but Riley should never have a reason to be sad around me.‘’I won’t leave you ever.’’ ‘’You …sure that was what Darius said, too?’’ he said, looking dejected ‘’Whatever powers that you may have, I am ready to help you find the problem together’’ i grabbed him by his arms He noddedI quickly thought of what I could say to bring Riley out of his misery. As I looked out, I saw that the full moon was out and the sky was filled with stars..’’I am not Ginger, and I didn’t replace her either, but I promised that I would always make sure you have no business being lonely, your heart is always with me, and so is mine to yoursDo you wanna see something new? I asked, he looked at me with his confused gaze, and sat up for a while before asking.‘’ I am not interested in this.’’ I am not asking you to drag him out, as I pointed out. He looked up and stared in awe at how beautiful the stars and the sky were.‘’Those stars up there

Chapter 38(Riley's pov)

RILEY I am so thirsty, but water cannot solve my problems.‘’Baby..baby, do you know what you just said?’’ Cassian asked, probably shocked that I said something like thatI nodded as I moved closer in between his legs, grazing my lips against his obvious hard on,‘’Fuck,, are you sure’’ he groanedI nodded and opened my mouth wide as I told myself. He is not Darius Not dariusNot DariusThey care Kieran chuckled before saying ‘’ damn, you keep getting bolder daily. I wonder what’s giving you that much confidence these days’’‘’I don’t know what it is, but I don't want to have my dick in your mouth.’’ Cassian smirks. I could feel my heart beating fast as he unbuckled his pants and brought out his dick, which sprang free and slapped me hard on my face.Kieran pulled me up as he left me on my knees. He turned me around as I faced Kieran and bent me over ‘’What are you doing?’’ I asked ‘’Taking more than I can chew? While you have that lucky bastard’s dick in your mouth, I will have

Chapter 39( Riley's pov)

RileyI woke up with the feel of some heat radiating from both sides of the bed as I tried to move something that held me in place. The first thing I saw when I opened my eyes was Kieran's face, his back against the bed as he lay face up and peaceful. My face flushed hard as I remembered where his lips had been. I heard a groan behind me and turned to the sound, Cassian, who was lying on his shoulder with his hand on my waist. He leaned in closer as his hair brushed through my face, having the urge to pee. I tried to push him off and head to the bathroom without waking anyone.‘’Cassian?’’‘’Cassy’’‘’Hey,’’ I shook him amidst my whispers‘’Hm? You need something, baby’’ his husky voice sounded in my ears as it made butterflies run through my belly and blood run through my legs.Yeah..the bathroom..Want me to take you’’ he murmured as he placed a kiss on my forehead.‘’No, I need you to let me go so I can go.’’ ‘’Too bad, I was just getting comfortable,’’ nuzzling his body against m

Chapter 40( Kieran's pov)

Kieran’s povThe war I had anticipated is finally here.I will get ready. I turned to Riley, who was behind Cassian. I will be back; take care of him, " I said to Cassian. No!’’ Riley suddenly said‘’Riley, what are you?’’ Cassian asked‘’We will come with you,’’ he said casually ‘’Will we?’’‘’Yes, Cassian and I will come with you.’’''No, Riley, you have to stay here with Cassian so he can protect you. ''‘’From what….’’ I paused, thinking of how to reply but had nothing‘’We can come and fight with you.’’No’’ cassian and I said simultaneously.‘’I can fight, you know that.’’‘’Yes, I do, but did you hear what Mia had just said? Those things are unbeatable. ’’‘’But I have powers, ’’ he said‘’Riley’’ cassian muttered ‘’I won’t get hurt; I can defend myself’’ he pleaded‘’Are you sure ?’’‘’Fine, you guys go get ready and get into the car. ’’‘’Kieran, are you insane? Cassian snarled‘’We don’t have time for this; go get in the damn car, please.’’ I pleadedI juggled inside to ge
