A Private Villa

Chapter Fifty-oneSafira"We're leaving." Alpha Azrael’s voice echoed through the room, hanging in the quiet office, soft and heavy.I stood a few steps away from the door, buttoning my jacket hastily that I made few wrong ones, my skirt was still rumpled from his touch, staring at him in utter disbelief. My mind was a tangled mess of racing thoughts. Leaving? Leaving to go where?"I... I don't understand," I stammered, my voice trembling as I gestured vaguely toward the window. "What about school? I have classes. The professors... Administrator Corrine... what will everyone say? What happens when they realize I just vanished from the hall with you… that I left the school with you?”My heart skipped as a thought flashed through my mind. CCTV. I knew there was one in every angle of this school, what if they had one in this office too? What if everything that happened in just this last minute had been captured on it? I looked around, my eyes searching frantically for anything that could

A Private Villa 2

Chapter Fifty-twoAlpha AzraelThe weight of her thighs which wrapped tight around my waist was the only thing keeping my sanity tethered to the earth. She fit against me like she had been crafted specifically for my arms—her chest pressed flush to mine, her breath coming in tiny, short gasps against the base of my throat. Every subtle shift of her hips sent a hot wave of tension straight down into my groin, making the strain against my trousers almost unbearable.Heck, I wanted her so bad.I took more hurried stride, carrying her toward the floating spiral staircase, my steps striking the floor in a steady, heavy thud."Al… Azrael," she whispered, my name slipping down her lips beautifully. Her hands clutched at the fabric of my coat as if she were terrified I might drop her, her fingers digging through the wool, clinging for dear life. "There…there… are there no guards? No servants? "Out," I answered softly, holding her closer. “They don’t need me to dismiss them, they know to get

The Hesitation

Chapter Fifty-ThreeSafiraThe moment my lips met his, a wave of heat crashed through my chest, burning away the lingering chill of the cold world outside. His dropped his mouth onto mine with a fierce, ravenous intensity, claiming my lips with all the pent-up hunger we had both been forced to swallow for weeks. My hands tightened around his collar, pulling him closer until there wasn't a single breath of air left between us. I met every movement of his tongue with an urgency of my own, drinking in his taste, letting the intoxicating scent consume my senses completely.Yet, even as my body melted against his chest, a quiet, sinister fear began to crawl its way back into the dark corners of my mind. What if this changes nothing? What if this was just another charade that’ll end in pain? The thought hit me like a cold splash of water after a long sleep, jerking me back to reality. What if this was just another moment of fleeting passion? What if he took me right here, and then pulled ba

Moment Of Pleasure

Chapter Fifty-FourAlpha AzraelThe moment her back hit the mattress, I followed her down, crowding her body with my own before she had the chance to draw a full breath.I stripped off my shirt and coat in two fluid motions, flinging them blindly across the room. Safira didn't pull away this time; her hands reached out the second my chest was bare, her palms tracing the line of my ribs, her small fingers digging into my back as if anchoring herself to me.Without breaking the steady, burning line of kisses trailing down her jaw to her throat, I unbuttoned her jacket and pulled it off her shoulders. I reached for the hem of her shirt, tugging it over her head, then slid my hands down to the waistband of her skirt and lace panties, dragging them down her legs until she was completely bare beneath me.She shivered as the cool air hit her skin, her breath hitching sharply. I took a brief second to look at her—flushed, breathing heavily, her dark hair scattered across the gray sheets, her

Alone Again

Chapter Fifty-FiveSafiraWhen I first opened my eyes, everything felt… surreal, different.I lay tangled in the warm sheets, staring up at the warm sunlight streaming through the tall glass windows. For a few long seconds, my mind was entirely blank, floating in a soft, weightless haze. Then, I shifted a bit, and a sharp, dull ache between my thighs immediately pulled me back to reality. My chest rose in a shallow breath as I looked down, realizing I was completely naked beneath the blankets. A quiet, irrepressible smile curled the corners of my lips, the vivid memories of the moment we had shared crashing over me in a wave of sudden heat.I turned my head to the side and the smile vanished as quickly as it had come. The pillow beside mine was empty. The sheets were cold.A sudden spike of panic pierced straight through my chest. My heart began to hammer wildly against my ribs, cold sweat breaking across my skin as every dark, terrifying thought rushed back in full force. He left.

Althea’s Discovery

Chapter Fifty-sixAzraelDamn it!Althea had a frustrating habit of calling or showing up at the absolute worst possible moment.I had just managed to claw my way out from under piles of administrative duties and royal responsibilities, finally carving out a sliver of time to be with the only woman I actually wanted.
