All Chapters of Obey Until I Die: Chapter 1 - Chapter 9

My flesh had been shredded almost beyond recognition. It took the doctors at the hospital three days to wrestle me from the clutches of death. As my wife, Regina Johnson, stared at my heavily bandaged body, pain flashed through her eyes. She turned to Tyler Lowe and asked slowly, "What exactly happened between you and Calvin in the bathroom that day? He used to value his life so much. Why would he jump into a meat grinder just because someone stepped on him?"Tyler's eyes darted around evasively as he replied in a wounded tone, "I have no idea. Cal went crazy out of nowhere that day. He called me a phony, saying that I was stealing his place. He said he wanted to kill me…"My older sister, Calista Lowe, shielded Tyler behind her and shot me a vicious glare before saying, "Regina, Ty has always treated you like a sister. How can you suspect him like that?"She turned back to me, her eyes filled with disgust. "Do you have no shame, Calvin? Ty has been nothing but good to you, yet yo

It was a taunting, possessive kiss—a blatantly shameless act. When Tyler saw that I didn't react, he became even bolder and started tugging off Regina's clothes. Her face turned bright red, but after a feeble attempt to stop him, she completely gave in to him.The sound of their gasps and heavy breathing drew sideways glances from the people outside the door.In the past, I would've fought Tyler to the death even if he merely touched Regina's hand. But now, I remained motionless like a statue. When the two of them finally got up from the floor, Regina's eyes were filled with disbelief. "Calvin, you watched me get intimate with another man, and you don't feel anything at all?"I slowly lowered my head and replied, "Tyler said he wanted to make you his woman, and you didn't reject him, so of course I went along with it without protesting."Both Tyler's and Regina's expressions cracked. My parents and Calista came back in, exchanging stunned looks as well.At that very moment, Tyle

After the brief burst of agony came a sense of weightlessness I had never felt before. I could feel myself slowly separating from my body.I was free at last. Everything was finally over.I slowly lowered my head and saw myself lying on the ground. My skull had completely shattered. One eyeball had fallen out. My limbs twisted at unnatural angles, surrounded by a massive pool of blood. It was such a miserable sight. I couldn't believe I'd allowed myself to end up like that.Floating in midair, I watched the whole scene unfold in silence, as if I were just a passing onlooker. Things had already descended into complete chaos.Mom had collapsed to the ground from crying uncontrollably. As she clutched Dad's arm tightly, she choked out in a broken voice, "Cal… my son… Wake up…"She grabbed at Calista and Tyler, pounding them with her fists. "You're the ones who killed my son! Give him back to me…"Dad buried his face in his hands, his shoulders trembling. I couldn't see his face, b

The entire living room fell silent, and a figure dressed in black slowly approached the Lowes. It was Regina, and she'd brought a large cardboard box with her. After roughly wiping her tears away, she hoarsely declared, "Tyler deceived all of us! He was never as innocent and harmless as we thought. Even Calvin's death was orchestrated by him from the very beginning!" "Regina…" Calista said shakily. "Y-You can't just accuse him like that… You can't blame everything on Ty just because Calvin is dead…"But Regina ignored her completely. She walked straight to the front and placed the cardboard box in front of my funeral portrait. Then, she took out a voice recorder and pressed the play button.Tyler's voice immediately rang across the living room."Calvin, there can only be one son in the Lowe family, and that's me! So what if they're your biological parents? I'll definitely find a way to drive you out of this family!"Everyone's expressions changed drastically as they all turned t

"Which one of you is Tyler Lowe?" one officer asked. "You're under suspicion for hiring people to commit assault. You need to come with us for further investigation."The color drained from Tyler's face. He ducked behind Mom before shouting, "I didn't do anything! I'm innocent! What gives you the right to arrest me? I'm the victim!""Innocent?" Regina sneered. "All of the evidence here proves everything you've done to Calvin. We'll let the court decide whether you're truly innocent."She fell silent for a moment before adding, "It's not just you. I helped you fabricate false charges, too. I can't escape legal punishment either."With that, she walked up to the police officers, her tone sincere as she said, "Officer, I want to turn myself in."Tyler's body trembled as the realization hit him. "You called the police? You bitch!""Shut up!" Regina raised her hand and slapped him hard across the face. The police officers stepped forward and snapped cold handcuffs around his wrists.
