Chapter 103Eva’s POV I knew that Nancy was going to lose it when I killed Renee. I’d been anticipating her fury. Good, I wanted her to be angry. I was spoiling for a fight, as neither Brenda nor Renee were much of an opponent. I was happy to work out my frustrations on Nancy. She deserved the beating that she was about to get. I nodded to Rederick, and he let her go. She hadn’t expected him to do it so soon, and she hit the ground before she realized he was doing as she had asked. Chapter 104Easton’s POV I was shocked to hear what Nancy had said. She was still giving Eva a hard time and trying to instigate others against her. I was going to have to get Luna Kiara, and Eva to help me go through the entire pack. I am going to make sure anyone who can’t support Eva as my mate is banished. I won’t let this happen again. She has been through enough. I can’t remember a time when I had been this disappointed in my pack members. I am counting that from when I was a pup. Chapter 105Eva’s POV I wanted Nancy to hear the truth from my mouth. I wanted her to understand she made every choice that led her here. If she didn’t want any consequences, she should’ve never started this in the first place. I heard the agony in her howl of pain. Chapter 106Easton’s POV I knew that Luna Kiara wasn’t trying to be mean, but hearing what she just said about me still hurt. She hadn’t lied about what I had done. I knew my actions had brought me here. I honestly thought that when I told my pack members to spread the word around the pack that my Luna had been found, that is what would be done. I was wrong. Instead, Branda intentionally came after Eva again. This time, she tried to hide the fact that she had started the rumors going around about her. I’m glad she was dealt with, but Eva was right. Chapter 107Eva’s POV Easton was ready to fight. Harry and Clifford were clearly mindlinking. They were scared, but they were pretty well trained. They were not helpless, and they intended to fight. I smiled as I listened to their ideas as they argued back and forth about what they needed to do. They settled on a plan, but they hadn't put much thought into it. They should have taken longer and come up with a more effective plan. They were about to make a huge mistake, and I wasn’t going to say a word. They deserved this. If you can’t be loyal to the pack that’s taken care of you for over two decades. Who would you be loyal to? Easton was ready to fight, but Harry and Clifford still struggled against the warriors trying to push them into the sparring circle. Baylor and Roderick walked over and shouldered through the crowd. Harry and Clifford froze when they saw them approach, as the twins' reputations were well known among the packs. “Enter the circle,” Roderick advised.

Chapter 108Easton’s POV Clifford was dead, and Harry was next, but I honestly wished that I could kill him twice. He was the one who decided to help Miranda and Ashley. Clifford was a follower, not a leader. Between them, I’m sure that Harry was the one who had talked Clifford into making the deal with the she-wolves. I’m not saying that Clifford didn’t willingly participate in doing this. He definitely wanted to, but he would have never come up with something like this on his own. I’m worried Miranda and Ashley will return and hurt Eva. That concern has been weighing heavily on me since the moment they managed to escape. We won’t know when they’ll return until it's too late. All I can think about now is getting anyone who was willing to cross my Luna out of this pack as soon as I can. Chapter 109Eva’s POV Being this close to him, and knowing that he is naked, was a bigger mistake than I thought it would be. My feelings for him grow stronger each day, and I admit that seeing him in all his glory tonight was a new, but not unpleasant experience. He had nothing to be ashamed of, in any department. Chiseled abs and a defined chest, strong thighs and legs, and despite trying not to notice, every single part of him seemed crafted by the Goddess. Chapter 110Eva’s POV I actually slept very well last night. Easton was warm, and his scent wrapped around me. I felt safe and loved, and he slept wrapped around me. It took me a second to remember that I had slept in his room last night. I admit that I could get used to this very quickly. I had no nightmares, and I actually got 8 hours of sleep. I can't remember that happening except when the Goddess brought me back to life, and the night after I returned to the Spirit Walker pack and reunited with my parents. I felt his eyes on me before I knew that he was awake. He had his arms wrapped around me, but he had kept his lower half angled away from me. I knew he was trying not to frighten me. I knew why when he shifted away from me in bed. An obvious tent formed in his pajama bottoms. He gave a self-conscious smile before heading to the shower to go deal with it.
