Chapter 81Easton’s POV I came down to the cells several minutes ago. I heard their argument play out. I arrived less than two minutes after Brenda, because she fought the warriors the entire way over here. I had already been heading this way, as Gray had asked me to come over and see him after he arrived. I needed a distraction because being around Eva was hard. I wanted to pull her in my arms. I wanted to hold her, kiss her, and comfort her. I also wanted to tell her that I would never betray her, not after finally meeting her. But I was terrified that if I brought that up, I would end up driving her away. Her first day here had already been ruined because of jealous, petty she-wolves. I didn’t want to push her any further, not after the welcome she had received. I was glad I'd come to the cells now. I had audio and video installed.
