“I'm not going to marry him even if you beat me to death today.” Alexandra spat, clenching onto her dress tightly to suppress herself from making any sound. She could allow them to bully and order her around like a maid but not to marry her off. She had swallowed it all hoping for when she would finally marry Kevin, the man she loved and have a family that would love her. It was better she died than let them force her into a loveless marriage. “Seems like I've been too lenient with you,” Robert, her father yelled, hitting her continuously with a whip.“Dad, you're going to kill her if you keep going.” Charlotte, her younger sister said, her voice laced more with venom than pity.“Isn't it better that she dies since she doesn't want to marry?” Robert fumed, still hitting her.Melissa, her mother, stepped forward grabbing Robert's hand. “Who will marry Bryan if she's dead?” Robert flung the whip aside, glaring coldly at Alexandra. “Kneel here till daybreak and reflect on your actions.

The car pulled up in front of Wayne's mansion. Bryan quickly came down and opened the door for Alexandra, carrying her into the mansion.Cameras clicked all around us forcing her to snuggle her face into Bryan's arm to hide her tears and pains. He didn't say anything to anyone as he carried her straight to his room. Alexandra's face went white as he watched him undress her. She was going to lose her virginity to him but couldn't do anything.“Make sure to do whatever he wants,” Robert’s threat echoed in her ear. “Unless you don't want to see your lover anymore.”“I'm sorry, Kevin… I’m truly sorry, Kevin.” her voice cracked, tears sliding down her face as she lay stiffly on the bed as Bryan showered her body with kisses.By the time, the mansion fell into a grave silence. She had been stripped of everything, her freedom, her life and her purity. She lay sobbing into the pillows while Bryan slept peacefully beside her.***“What the hell are you doing in my bed?” Bryan's cruel voice was

*Three months later*Three months had passed by so painfully slow. Bryan didn't just turn Alexandra into his personal chef. He made her wait for him at the door every evening to take his coat, made her arrange his room always, made her brew him coffee every night when he had to work overtime at the study. He turned her into his maid without thinking twice.“Get ready, we'll be going to the civil bureau tomorrow evening.” Bryan said as Alexandra placed his coffee on top of his desk.Alexandra nodded, relief clouding her mind. Finally, she can leave this hellhole too and be with Kevin forever but part of her didn't really want to go.Even though she was also a maid in her father's house for twenty-three years. It was different in Wayne's mansion. Bryan didn't bully her instead he had once warned the maid not to do so.The only person that bullied her or still hit her was Charlotte which obviously Bryan turned a blind eye to. Less than twenty four hours and she would finally become free.

–Eight Hours later–The OR door finally opened and four nurses wheeled Alexandra out followed by Dr. Hayes.Jennifer rushed towards Dr. Hayes, her eyes following the nurses wheeling the stretcher.“How was the surgery?” She asked, anxiously. Her heart was pounding nonstop as she stared at the frown on his face.Dr. Hayes's frown faded slowly. “It was successful.”Jennifer breathed out heavily in relief. “So when will she wake up?”“Two days later,” he answered after going through the report on his hands.“What?” Jennifer's eyes dilated. “Has she fallen into a coma?”“She was sedated,” Dr. Hayes explained, taking a step forward. “Let's talk about the rest in my office.”Jennifer glanced at the direction the nurses that were wheeling Alexandra disappeared into, conflicted on whether to follow them or him.“I'll make sure she's comfortable,” her secretary intervened. “You have to understand what's wrong with her.”“Okay,” Jennifer agreed after a few seconds. “I'm trusting your words.” S

Alexandra turned her face away from Jennifer embarrassed.Jennifer brought out a golden flask from a lunch box on the table and placed it on the table before opening it. She then inserted a spoon inside it, She brought up the overbed table and placed the flask on it before sitting close to Alexandra. “Have some porridge,” Jennifer said, placing the spoon before Alexandra's lips. “Open it slightly so it won't hurt your face.”Alexandra hesitated, staring at her. This was the first time someone was ever caring for her. Her stomach grumbled again reminding her she had not eaten anything for more than two days now.“Come on. Don't tell me you're shy,” Jennifer teased, rubbing the spoon slightly on her lips.Alexandra parted her lips slightly as Jennifer began feeding her gently, one spoon at a time. Surprisingly, the silence in the room was rather soothing than choking.Tears clouded Alexandra’s eyes, this was something she had wanted… the atmosphere she had carved for for twenty three
