Talia POV Alexei has continued to be secretive about how his dealing with Lucas friends and it is starting to piss me off.All I do all day is lazy around and have Faris watch me before he returns from work and then he fucked me and go to bed. Ethan has been going to New York with Alexei for weekend but even when it's isn't weekend Ethan is been home school, leaving be alone.Faris is only here because of the housekeeper's daughter even though he denies it but these days I'm planning to play a game which I already know how it's going to turn out.Alexei came in at around three in the morning which was strange and I just had to confront him." Why are you coming late these days?" I asked standing up to meet him but Alexei isn't like every regular guy out there.“I don’t want to think that you’re actually implying what I think you are.”“I said I was sorry but you have... .”“I don’t give a damn if you’re sorry and I don’t care about your apology.”My arms crossed over my chest, and

Alexei POV After the whole celebration, I returned back to Los Angeles with Talia and Ethan but during my discussion with the guys, Viktor had informed me that Mike is losing his shit. Mike is Lucas best friend. He’s already sent out at least a dozen of his other friends to look for Talia. Word is he’s been combing every force he had, and he’s already paid two visits to Adrian home but he was quick to let me know that Mike was practically foaming at the mouth. He’s never seen him like this and the words homicidal lunatic were uttered more than once during that conversation. He has it out for me, and he especially wants Talia. Viktor didn’t sugarcoat any of the details. Mike is out for blood because Lucas died because of Talia and there is no going back now.I’ve started a war with one of the most powerful men in America. Mike has many contacts including government agents in his pockets, dirty cops and politicians, the list is endless. They are all fucking terrified of him for this v

Aria POV Aria nodded and her breathing was already deepening. Gripping the hem of her skirt, I pushed it up and bunched it around her waist, laying her pussy bare to my view.Desire raced through my veins, seeing her opened for me, her pink folds already glistening with her lust then I leaned forward and ran my nose along the small white scar on her inner thigh then inhaled. Aria quivered. “Viktor?” Need and a hint of insecurity rang in her voice. I peered up, found her cheeks reddening.“Lie back,” I murmured and she did. “Relax, feel and listen.”I pushed her skirt even higher then pulled her closer until her pussy hovered over the edge, tantalizing and teasing. I lifted the lid again and hit the B key.The low note reverberated in the piano and, seeing goosebumps rise on Aria skin. She could feel the hum everywhere, even in her pussy and I played the low note again but this time I kissed her knee then trailed my tongue down her calf and circled her ankle with the tip before I move

Talia POV“Can we go to the playground, Mommy?”Ethan is getting bored of being cooped up indoors all day, and the allure of his unlimited TV time has worn off.I check the time on my phone, refreshing it in the hopes of a message from Alexei while I’m at it, but he’s been quiet since his call a couple of hours ago.“It’s getting late for that, but I saw a Dairy around the corner maybe we can walk over in a little bit and get some ice cream?” I want to wait until full dark, which will be very soon.“Ice cream ?”“Yep.”He smiles wide as he nods enthusiastically.“You have to eat your dinner first, though,” I tell him, eyeing his half-eaten bowl of spaghetti which the housekeeper serves a couple of minutes ago." “All of it?”“All of it.”He makes a face but picks up his spoon and starts to eat again. I walk back to the desk and stare at the nearly blank sheet of paper.Alexei wanted me to write down everything I remembered about my mother, but what he suggested, that she was in some

Talia POV Alexei came back almost an hour after I and Ethan entered the house and I was glad he didn't know we went out, I only hope Ethan wouldn't mention it to his hearing. There is something about him that feels different now, he still hasn't told me what he heard from Damon but then he held my gaze, then turns his head to Ethan picture on the wall. “There’s one bit of news you should know.”“What?”He glances through the window again like someone is waiting out there, then turns to me. “Lucas isn’t dead,” he says quietly enough that Ethan won’t hear us.“What?” I feel the blood drain from my face.“I’m pretty sure he’s badly injured, and I’m going to take care of it, but I wanted you to know.”“How? And…oh my God. He’s going to come after us too.”“Mommy?” Ethan woke up startled by my shouting.“Stay calm, Talia. It’s going to be okay,” Alexei tells me. “Do it for Ethan.”I press the heels of my hands into my eyes then turn to Ethan.“Go back to sleep dear, mummy is fine.”Ethan
