All Chapters of His Undercover Submissive: Chapter 1 - Chapter 10

~Lila~The heavy oak door of Thorne’s office clicks shut behind me, but the sense of entrapment follows me right into the corridor. Before I can even take a full breath of the cooler hallway air, a broad, calloused palm presses firmly against the small of my back and the heat of Ryder’s hand burns straight through the fabric of my button-down shirt, steering me forward without giving me a single inch of leeway.“Don’t touch me,” I say, keeping my voice low so the passing club staff won’t overhear the tremor of pure fury vibrating in my chest.I try to shoulder away from his grip, but he simply shifts his hand higher, forcing me to keep pace with his long strides.“You lost the right to make demands the second you stepped into Thorne’s office to try and get me replaced, Bud,” Ryder murmurs, his deep voice scraping against my ears. “We’re on my clock now. You are going to learn exactly how this dynamic works, and we are starting immediately.”“Stop calling me that!” I snap, tiltin

~Ryder~ I freeze with my fingers hovering a mere millimeter above her wet, warm flesh, while I try to make sense of what just happened. The primal, roaring urge to take her, to completely possess her and strip away every last bit of her defiance, grinds to a crashing, agonizing halt. I stare down at her, my chest heaving as I fight the furious tide of my own arousal, trying to process the absolute shock of what she just did. “Kettle!” Lila shouts again, her voice louder this time, directed straight at the surface of the two-way mirror on the wall. She is trembling beneath me, her eyes wide and flashing with a volatile mixture of fear, triumph, and lingering desire. Before I can even open my mouth to demand an explanation, the heavy security door clicks open and swings wide and Nico Thorne steps into the room carrying a thick, black wool blanket in his hands. He moves directly between us, using his body as a shield to block my view of her as he drapes the fabric over her bar

~Ryder~The door to my private dungeon clicks shut, sealing us back inside the quiet, gray concrete walls, but the atmosphere has completely shifted.Lila is standing in the center of the room, her breath still a little shallow from what we just witnessed through the observation glass. The raw intimacy of Jason and Greta’s scene has left a beautiful, vulnerable flush on her skin, and I can sense her usual defensive walls momentarily crumbling. My eyes track down to the pocket of her discarded trousers resting on the chair where the faint outline of her engagement ring is showing. A sudden, vicious spike of jealousy hits my gut. She is wearing another man’s promise, but right now, she is standing bare in my world, breathing my air, and looking at me with a surrender I know she has denied herself for twelve years.“Down on your knees,” I command. “Face me.”She doesn’t offer a single retort this time. Her eyes fix on mine, full of a fierce intelligence that is actively processing

Bruce is standing less than three feet away from me, his knuckles white as he grips a folder he must have brought from his office. His expensive tailored suit looks completely out of place in the industrial lighting of The Red Room’s basement corridor.“B-BRUCE?” My heart drops to my knees. I have trouble drawing in a breath. “What are you doing here?”He crosses his arms over his chest, anger radiating from his nearly black eyes, glittering with betrayal. “After the marks I saw on your body last night and our argument, I came to find out what’s going on.”I swallow. How much of this morning’s session with Ryder has he seen? “You shouldn’t be here.”“Neither should you.” Bruce steps into the room on heavy footsteps. “Why didn’t you tell me that your first lover was working over you… excuse me, working with you on this case? Did that fact slip your mind, dear?”Crap. I’ve stepped deep in it now, and have no one to blame but myself. “No. I was reassigned to Ryder yesterday. I didn’
